As a small boy, I would sit for hours watching my mother hand-color portraits for a local photographer, during the cold winter months, by a fire in our family room. From there I began taking my own pictures with my first box camera. Fast forward to a restless twenty-something working as a microbiologist, taking weddings and portraits on weekends. Eventually I graduated college with an M.A. in Photography and started out in Chicago, assisting numerous photographers, shooting everything from oranges to weddings. I have been fortunate to have worked all over the world. Photography is more than a job, it’s an avocation, a passion, it's what I do.

My photography business was born in sunny San Diego, but a new adventure has led me to the midwest! I currently live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my wife, our two cats, Nesta and Zinnia, and our dog, Clementine. I studied Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at UC Davis and went on to my Masters at UCSD in Healthcare Administration. Through all of this professional development, photography has been my constant and my creative outlet. I have been capturing moments for the past six years. To me, photography is a practice and a ritual. I am inspired by emotion, movement and adventure. I can't wait to meet you and capture your adventures.
