From the first moment my grandfather placed a Sony Cybershot in my hands at age 13, I knew the magic of capturing life's most profound and intimate moments was meant for me. Now, after nearly 24 years behind the lens, what began as a childhood hobby has become everything to me. My commitment to you as your photographer is to apply my skill, creative mind, and decades of experience to your occasion so you have fantastic, tangible memories to look back on years from now. A photography professionally since 1997, my photographic skills were honed back in the days of film, working in my family's advertising agency. After many years of commercial photography experience, I officially launched my photography-exclusive business in 2009, leaving the advertising world behind. The catalyst which caused me to make this career shift was a cancer diagnosis in 2008. Having cancer causes you to reevaluate a lot of things about how you spend the time you have left in this world. And I wanted to spend whatever time I have left here doing something meaningful. And what could be more meaningful than weddings?

People ask me about Moments with Ada Photography. It grew out of an abundant desire to pay tribute to my late great-grandmother. Due to unfortunate circumstances, her life ended quickly and my grandmother grew up knowing very little of her mother. I've always wondered what she was like and what her interests were. Aside from a few photos of her we know very little of her. This is my way of continuing to keep her memory alive, by sharing moments with you it's like I'm sharing them with her. By helping you to capture your special moments, I know that I'm leaving behind a long legacy that my children and grandchildren will be proud of.

Photography is my passion. As a third generation photographer, it's in my blood! My grandfather opened a photography studio in Chicopee during the 1940's. Growing up, I spent hours looking at family photos, studying the faces of friends and loved ones. I read the hand written notes on the back of the pictures and I was taken back to the exact moment the photograph was taken. Even if the picture was snapped long before my birth, I could feel the emotion from that time. Photographs were and continue to be an absolute treasure in my household.
