I've had a camera in my hand as young as I can remember, took photography classes in high school and college where we still used a dark room to process and develop our images. I've spent the last 10 years building my business and I'm beyond grateful to call this my "job".

In addition to always being a photographer, I spent 15 years as a clinical social worker, wearing various "caps" working for several non-profits and working for the state as a child protection social worker, I learned valuable skills that I use with me on every single photo session, whether it's a portraits session or full day wedding. After couples share their gratitude towards the photos they have received from me, they generally follow up with a comment about how my calm presence was a welcomed part of their day.

Jeff is so patient and creative. He always strives to get the best photo with understanding everyone's limits (kids have the attention span of 2 seconds). He is incredibly respectful and you instantly feel at ease with him there. He guides you so you can be the most comfortable so your confidence shines through.

Jeffrey was the most wonderful wedding photographer we could have ever imagined. My husband and I were both nervous about being in front of the camera for our engagement shoot, but Jeffrey immediately put us at ease. His calm, friendly presence helped us relax and actually enjoy the experience, so much so that we went into our wedding day feeling confident and excited to work with him again. On the big day, Jeffrey’s experience and knowledge of our venue (Valley View Farm) made all the difference. Despite the rain, he was able to think on his feet and find creative, beautiful locations for our photos. The results were stunning and far exceeded our expectations. We also had the pleasure of working with Kelly Peterson as our second shooter, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her upbeat energy, sense of humor, and eye for detail brought so much joy to the day and helped us feel completely at ease. We’re so grateful to Jeffrey and Kelly for capturing our wedding so beautifully. Choosing them was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process, and we truly couldn’t imagine our day without them.

Jeffrey not only produces amazing photos, but is highly professional, kind, and easy-going. You spend a lot of time on your wedding day with your photographer, and Jeffrey is the calming, professional presence that you want with you! He somehow managed to capture our ceremony from seemingly every angle. He created creative, beautiful poses for us and also captured candids at the perfect moment. Our wedding venue manager, who worked with Jeffrey for the first time at our wedding, said (unprompted) that he was one of the most communicative and professional photographers she had worked with. Jeffrey also took our engagement photos in the frigid winter without complaint, and in fact, with excitement. You can tell he loves capturing an image and that energy transfers to you. I need to have more momentous life events so I can hire Jeffrey again to capture them.
