Sylvanside Farm was our first and only venue visit for our daughter’s wedding. The beautiful grounds and historical buildings on the farm made it an easy decision for us all. The owners, Terri and Jeff, have restored their property with utmost respect to its historical charm. Having on site lodging allowed both families to spend quality time together and hosting the rehearsal dinner on site made for an all around relaxing weekend. The curated list of preferred vendors, which Sylvanside provides, was very helpful and each vendor that we selected from their list was top notch. Terri and Jeff were very accommodating and responsive throughout the planning process and I highly recommend their venue for your special day.

As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. AMAZING! Just amazing job done by Colt and his team. I was panicking when I got to the venue because hair and makeup ran an hour over, he assured me we were fine and we’d have plenty of time. He kept us on schedule for the ceremony and reception and just was there every second. Once we got into the reception he brought my husband and I ice packs and put them in the back of our shirt/dress. He made sure we got food, drinks, etc. Colt is amazing. The venue is BEAUTIFUL! Everyone told me how amazing the venue was and the food was so good. The cake was absolutely amazing. The DJ was amazing! We had the best time. I can’t recommend Jordan Springs Estate enough. You won’t be disappointed.

On April 13, 2024, we held our wedding and reception at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center. During the planning of our wedding, we worked with Amy, Sonia, and finally Katherine to create our ideal day. All were very pleasant, knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating with our arrangements, and were very responsive answering numerous questions that we had. The wedding set up was exactly as discussed and the transition from outdoor to indoor on the day of the wedding (way too windy a day for an outdoor ceremony) was seamless, thanks to the wonderful staff! The reception area, bar, and food was set up exactly as had been discussed and the food was delicious! All of the guests commented on how wonderful the food and staff were. Staff also was very helpful with connecting our music through the hotel's WIFI system. We were even given a room for dressing and preparing for the ceremony. The atmosphere was very relaxed and professional (but not stuffy) and we never felt rushed or anxious about any of the arrangements. The amount owed was exactly what we had been told so there were no surprises there. Overall, it was a perfect day and the staff and facilities at the Marriott couldn't have been any better. I would not hesitate to hold any future events there, knowing the kind attention paid to every detail to make every event special.

My wife and I had our wedding here and it was excellent. Silo Falls was very accommodating to several special requests that we had. Food was excellent, service was attentive, and the Great Room in the back is a beautiful place to hold an event. Sheyanne, the wedding coordinator was very helpful throughout the planning process and on on the day of the wedding.

We LOVED having our wedding at Woodend! Beatriz was so helpful and answered all of our questions, as well as keeping us updated as the tent set up changed over this past year. The new tent is gorgeous and the whole venue is so gorgeous, including the grounds! We were happy to keep our decor minimal and let the mansion’s beauty shine, and we got so many compliments on the venue’s set up of having the dance space (Main Hall) separated from the dinner seating (tent). We also loved Woodend’s gorgeous property, which really shined for our late October wedding. Would fully recommend considering Woodend for your wedding - plenty of parking, beautiful space, great team, and your venue fee goes to a great charitable cause.

If you are searching for somewhere to have the perfect outdoor wedding, look no further than Comus Farm. Lauren and Kara truly pulled out all the stops to make our wedding day unforgettable! In 2023, my husband and I were looking for wedding venues: we were very specifically looking for someplace that would not require a lot of decoration work, since we were planning the whole event ourselves. As soon as my husband and I arrived at Comus Farm, I said “this is it, I want to book this place.” The farm is located in pleasant countryside, and the farm itself has a very beautiful entrance through trees and sunny fields: many of our guests commented on how this made the drive from the off-site ceremony to the reception at the farm very enjoyable. We toured the rose garden, outdoor dining and dancing pavilions, and the large barn, all of which are airy and open, making it feel very welcoming. The farmhouse Airbnb was spacious, clean, and well decorated. Lauren and Kara were both so kind, and they provided a lot of information with us in our first meeting: we signed the contract about a week after seeing the place. Lauren and Kara used AislePlanner to help us get going with our wedding planning. The website is easy to use, and the provided checklist covered literally every single tiny detail you could possibly need to consider for the planning journey. I was especially pleased with the seating chart map, it made it so easy for us to track guest meals, stage table set up, and communicate special requests. It also prints out the layout really nicely if you need to send it to your catering company. Our wedding party stayed at the farmhouse Airbnb the night before and after the wedding. Everyone had a really fantastic time, there was more than enough space for the girls to get ready in the AM, and the food provided was delicious! During the reception, my grandparents enjoyed their dinner in the kitchen so they could get some quiet time and rest, but they were still close enough to the wedding so they could say hello to the guests and listen to the speeches happening in the dinner pavilion. I also cannot say enough about how much we appreciated Lauren and Kara’s thoughtfulness throughout the planning process and on the day. They patiently answered so many of our questions, and they allowed us to come by three separate times to see the farm and meet with our vendors. They coordinated the vendors without a hitch, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. Kara drove the two of us and our photographer out to more remote areas on the farm to get some portrait shots. Lauren coordinated some fun photos with the alpacas, which was a lot of fun! Comus Farm is truly a beautiful spot to have a wedding, complete with a team that made our day perfectly stress-free. I’ll definitely be looking for any other reason to book with them in the future :)

We have thrown multiple parties various times of the year for the last several years. My favorite venue is the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner; hence, why we have planned several of our events there. The event sales managers and staff are so PROFESSIONAL and WONDERFUL. The venue is GORGEOUS. The event sales managers actually attend your event, which is a nice personal touch that other hotels/venues don't offer. I've personally worked with 2 of the event sales managers, and I have to say both went above and beyond my expectation to ensure our events were "perfect". The Woman’s National Democratic Club has occupied the mansion since 1927. The Whittemore House was listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1973 and was granted museum status in 2000. Today, we celebrate this distinguished history and tradition by maintaining a noted collection of antiques, art, and political memorabilia.

The house team was very easy to work with and accustomed to the needs of video crews (our need). The overall space is large, well-maintained and offers multiple rooms with different looks and sizes, all with a classical, mansion home esthetic.

I can’t say enough good things about Glen Ellen Farm! The property is BEAUTIFUL and was so perfect in every way. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the house is beautiful, and Debbie is amazing. She answered all of my questions and you can tell she is truly passionate about what she does. The tent, tables, and chairs were included which was a HUGE bonus for us. We ended up putting the sides of the tent down due to wind. Don’t know what we would have done if that wasn’t an option. We had the most AMAZING wedding here and the team at Belmont, Rhonda, Avery, and Elizabeth, were phenomenal throughout the whole process. They were very organized and ensured everything ran smoothly and was set up perfectly. They brought our vision to life and I could not be more thankful! They were always flexible and quick to respond to any questions and emails. They were always super helpful and knowledgeable. The venue itself is also beautiful and very spacious. The bridal and groom suite had so much room to get ready in and the grooms suite even has a pool table! All of our guests said this was one of the best wedding venues they have seen. The manor house is on the other side of the country club so it felt like its own venue and separate. The food is also amazing and great quality! All our guests were very impressed with all the food and said it was the best wedding food they have had! We had everything from hors d'oeuvres to late night snacks (definitely get the pizza!!). It's about average pricing to other similar venues in the area. You will not regret booking this venue!
