Cat MacDonald Photography
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Warsaw, IN

I’m Cat, a wedding and family photographer based in Northwest Indiana and serving couples throughout Southwest Michigan and Chicago. With more than fifteen years of experience, I create timeless and heartfelt images that blend elegant portraiture with candid storytelling. My couples describe me as both their photographer and their calm guide, capturing every moment while keeping the day relaxed and enjoyable. I take on a limited number of weddings each year so every love story receives my full attention.

I'm almost at a loss for words to describe how phenomenal our experience with Cat was. Our wedding day really would not have been the same without her and her team. I happened upon Cat when our DJ tagged her in an Instagram post and I immediately fell in love with her work. Her photos are so perfectly vibrant and full of life, and I knew she'd capture our special day perfectly. Her communication was always fast, kind, and informative. All of my questions were quickly answered and she was a -huge- help in getting our Day-Of timeline nailed down. I was also SO thankful for her during our engagement shoot. My poor fiance (now husband) was on call that day, and we ended up having to cut the shoot short as a result. Cat was able to get some of our new favorite pictures of us anyway, and she was so easy to work with. I want to give her, Bethany, and Jo a very special thank you for everything they did on our wedding day. As a plus size bride I was very anxious about being photographed at all, but they made me feel like a fairy princess and I'm SO in love with our pictures. They are stunning photos and we definitely shed a few happy tears over them, but aside from that, it was really just special to have these amazing humans at our wedding. Their positivity and laughter was infectious, and we received a ton of compliments on how wonderful they all were. One million out of ten, highly recommend 3

I’m Arielle, a wedding photographer in South Bend, Indiana, who believes that wedding photos aren’t just for the sake of looking pretty. They are meant to capture the sacredness of your holy union, preserve the emotion of the moment, and document your weak in the knees sort of love. If you’re a bride looking to build your legacy and gain a new friend in the process, I’m so happy you are here because you are exactly where you need to be.

Arielle captured our wedding incredibly! She made our day run so smoothly and took the most amazing photos. She is so kind, helpful, thoughtful and does absolutely outstanding work!

I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Awarded Best of Zola
Edgar is the best! He was fun to be around and up for anything. He traveled hours to meet us and even went on a pretty buggy/muddy hike to capture the most incredible photos. We are both so awkward in front of a camera and he immediately made us comfortable - such an important skillset! We can't wait to see him again next June for our wedding, and have so much faith that he will hit it out of the park again!

Angela is a Destination wedding photographer capturing timeless memories for over 10 years. She loves providing couples with candid images that they can look back on for a lifetime. Her passion is to connect and tell couples’ love stories through the beauty and emotion of the moments captured.

Awarded Best of Zola
From our first conversation, Angela was easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions right away. She helped us plan out our timeline so we knew exactly what to expect on the big day, which took so much stress off our shoulders. Angela has a gift for capturing different moments and angles that we didn't even know we wanted but absolutely love now. Her turnaround time for our photos was impressive, and we had our sneak peeks within days. What really stood out was how warm and personable she was while working—it felt like we had a friend behind the camera instead of just a photographer. We couldn't be happier with Angela Mallett Photography and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who cares about getting it right.

I'm a traveling wedding & elopement photographer based in Michigan. I am always down for an adventure. There is so much to explore and experiences to be had. I love getting to know rad couples and capturing some pretty iconic moments for them. Let's get this party started by sending me an inquiry!

Awarded Best of Zola
For starters, we had Taylor do our engagement pictures- my fiancé and I never had professional photos together and to say I was nervous, was an understatement. Taylor drove over 3 hours to do our little engagement shoot and came with this little speaker and the most warming personality. She made us feel completely comfortable and the pictures really spoke for themselves. She directed us and really made the experience something so fun. Fast forward to a year later, we obviously used her for our wedding. Not only did she help with our wedding timeline, but was easy to communicate with, prompt with response times, and really was excited for our big day. On our wedding day, Taylor was a complete professional. We stuck to a strict timeline and were able to get all our pictures done, still have time to enjoy cocktail hour, and mostly be present during our reception. Taylor has the most vibrant personality and makes everyone feel special on your day. She will hype you up and the next moment have you cracking up. Our wedding photos were exactly what we wanted. The pictures really captured the essence of our wedding, the feelings we had throughout the day, and the love we shared with everyone there. I would and DO suggest her to anyone who asks. Taylor really was the best choice a couple could ask for.

Hi! I'm Christin, a destination wedding photographer based in Chattanooga, TN. Specializing in timeless and artful imagery, my expertise goes beyond just taking photos; it's about crafting a visual story that reflects the joy, love, and unique spirit of your celebration.

Working with Christin at Christin Sofka Photography was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From our very first inquiry to the days following our wedding, Christin has been nothing short of phenomenal—responsive, professional, fun, and such a warm presence throughout. We initially found her because of her stunning photography style, but it was her incredible personality that sealed the deal. From our first call, she genuinely wanted to get to know us—our story, our vibe, our vision—and it showed in everything she did. Before we even officially hired her, Christin was helping us find a venue that aligned with our dream, connecting us with other amazing vendors, and offering support in ways far beyond the role of a photographer. She was in it with us every step of the way. I’m usually awkward in front of a camera, but somehow Christin made it feel effortless and fun. She created an environment where we could just be ourselves—and that joy, love, and personality came through in every photo. Our pictures shine with who we are. Every idea we had, she embraced and brought to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. She was just as excited as we were the entire time—and honestly, I can’t imagine our day without her. Christin is not just a photographer—she’s a true artist, a cheerleader, and a calming, creative force you’ll be so lucky to have by your side. If you’re considering hiring her: do it. You’ll be singing her praises too.

I feel so honored to be a part of the most memorable moments in so many people’s lives. My desire as an artist is to create photos that are full of life and meaning and express beauty in an honest way. For this reason, I choose to photograph your wedding in an organic nature mixing film and digital photography. My career in the arts started in a more traditional setting, studying painting and drawing and I went on to graduate with a degree in Visual Communication. I do love all the mediums I’ve studied, but my true passion is photography. I have now worked as a photographer since 2010 and I am so blessed to be doing what I love.

Kassidy Ilayne Studios is a fine-art, hybrid wedding photography team (offering film and digital photographs,) passionate about upscale celebrations and stylish couples in love. We travel the world to capture your memories with our signature style. Our two most-served bases are Indianapolis, Indiana and Charleston, South Carolina. You can expect a gallery filled with unique moments and variety, captured with our artful eye.

Her photos are unmatched! Me and my now husband, Sage, fell in love with Kassidy’s style of photography. We loved how she edited the images and what she chose to capture in them. They aren’t just wedding pictures, but they are art. Not just does she have a special talent for capturing pictures, but she is such a sweet and kind soul! We first met her at our engagement pictures, we knew she was the kind of person we want there on our wedding day. I loved that she didn’t make us feel like the entire wedding day was a photoshoot (even though she was capturing it all). Of course we had some posed getting ready pictures, after ceremony family and couple pictures, but it was so quick and we didn’t feel like it took too long from our special day. Looking at the pictures she took, I didn’t even know she was there capturing some moments. Also, we loved how she captured some guests too. It’s so special to look back and see the memories from our day captured for us to have forever. We are so happy to have chosen Kassidy!

We needed a photographer experienced with low light photography because our ceremony was at 5pm in November. We wanted classy, romantic indoor and outdoor photos! We had ideas, but also needed professional suggestions. Ashley's edgy and moody photography paired with our more traditional-style wedding produced the most romantic photos! Intimate, secretive, vintage. My SIL found a cool lounge space for our indoor photos and Ashely quickly adjusted to this impromptu find. Ashely is very easy to communicate with and pleasant to work with.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.
