He made sure we stayed on our timeline and was extremely organized and thorough when it came to planning the first dance, introductions, etc. He kept everyone dancing after brunch! “We had the absolute pleasure of Chris Morris from Buffaluv soundz DJing our wedding this July. Everything from the initial consultation to the last hours he was there cleaning up his equipment was a great experience in which we felt true dedication from him and his team towards making our day perfect. They were extremely down to earth and easy to work with. Chris helped personalize so many touches within our day from a unique first dance to hyping our folks up for the dance floor. He was so extraordinarily professional arriving very early to set up and make sure everything was perfect and checking in with us in regard to all sorts of details that really brought our dreams to reality. I can’t say enough about what a difference it made to have such an attentive to detail and caring person in charge of the sound, music and overall vibe of our wedding day. There was nothing generic, boring or overdone and every moment felt like it was truly ours. Chris is the best! I would recommend him to everyone! we went with a package that included the Photo Booth and Cloud effect for the dance floor which made our first dance so fire! Everyone really loved the Photo Booth. They had great props and backgrounds and they even gave us a photo album filled with our guest pics. That was an awesome surprise at the end of the night. Lastly, I just have to add, I was worried about DJ equipment and the look of it and the whole set up that Chris brought was gorgeous modern white, clean and elegant. We were so impressed! It really added to our aesthetic perfectly. Overall, they were just an absolute 10 out of 10 and made our wedding a fairytale come true!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “When looking for a band for a multicultural wedding, we knew they had to be special. Just the Melody was the first band we reached out to and it was clear from the onset that we didn’t have to look any further because we knew they were the ones. Throughout the entire experience, Melody and Edvin were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and took the planning process seriously while also keeping it fun. We were able to have multiple planning meetings where they clearly listened to our vision and more specifically the energy we were hoping to bring to the entire evening. Our wedding included multiple different musical moments that Just the Melody was able to provide with aplomb. The ceremony was romantic instrumental music that transitioned to modern pop instrumentals during the first half of the cocktail hour. Then a Mariachi band took over the second half of the cocktail hour with Melody providing gorgeous vocals for a few songs before the 12-piece band took over the magic for the rest of the night. The band with Edvin as MC matched the energy of our guests the entire night in a way we never expected. After our first dance, a beautiful rendition of Luis Miguel’s”Por Debajo De La Mesa”, the band moved right into a wondrous lineup of Latin music including Cumbia, Bachata, and Salsa that got our guests up and on their feet. From that point forward the dancing was nonstop with both American and Latin music filling the air. They also helped us celebrate the joining of our Jewish and Latino cultures by playing the Hora followed by La Vibora De La Mar. Edvin and Melody worked well with our venue to time our fathers’ speeches when our guests paused for a moment to eat and they were thoughtful with the tempo of the night by pairing this with our father/bride and mother/groom dances. After dinner they brought the energy right back up and we even got to see some of Edvin’s unreal dance moves when the 90s/2000s pop music started up. We could absolutely not believe it when they allowed us to come on stage and belt out one of our favorite songs (Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”). It was a living dream (especially for the bride). We cannot say enough how much both of us and all of our guests absolutely adored Just the Melody. We have been told multiple times by our guests that they didn't expect to go to a concert along with our wedding and that they loved every minute of it. And we did too. The music the entire evening was exceptional and better than anything we could have come up with in our wildest dreams for the evening. Thank you Melody, Edvin and the entire Just the Melody crew - we could not have chosen better for our wedding!!”

“The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”
