Half of the event occurs before anyone steps on the dance floor. Live sax music sets that special atmosphere for life's most important party. When it’s time to dance, Saxman Slim provides experienced DJ services. All wedding DJs know what works. The trick is to imagine how the next song will feel in the room before it’s played. Musicians make excellent DJs because their training enables them to accurately hear a song in their head, so they can choose the right transition to inspire renewed dancing excitement. And instead of annoying talk stating the obvious, Saxman Slim prefers to let the mix speak for itself, commercial-free.
In addition to award-winning DJ services, Saxman Slim provides live music for the cocktail hour and dinner to make the event feel special. The usual itinerary is upbeat popular song performances for the cocktail hour, emcee for bridal party introductions, instrumental interpretations of famous ballads for dinner, then DJ services of your favorite jams including dance floor lighting.

Perfect choice for entertainment!
Matt was excellent for our wedding! Our venue was excited to hear we were working with him. We appreciated the thoughtful information sheet he provided to collect our party members names and our song choices- it really spoke to his experience and professionalism. The ambiance with the saxophone was a wonderful addition to our wedding and he kept the dancing going with a great playlist. Cannot recommend enough!
Awesome DJ & Sax Player!
Matt has been great to work with, he's very responsive and happy to cater to all of our music requests. He played the saxophone during the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and then switched to DJing for the rest of the night. Matt was very personable and professional while emceeing. His price was comparable to other DJs, but you can't beat having a live musician! 10/10 recommend!
