Aanna Chase Photography
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Valley Springs, SD

Hello! My name is Aanna and I can't wait to meet you. When I was seven years old, my parents gifted me with a tape recorder. It became my aim to document life in my home and beyond—an ongoing narration. Fast forward a few years and I brought my journalism to a new level when I spent my hard earned money on a camera. The rest is history—and a longer story for a future coffee date :) For as long as I can remember, I have been observing and responding to the stories and visuals around me; and it has only become more exciting with every person I meet and event I photograph!

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Aanna was an absolute dream for our wedding! She is truly a one woman show and spent 8 hours with us and never missed a shot. She was incredibly helpful in making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to capture us beautifully in both candid and curated shots. There was excellent communication that helped our day run smoothly and stress free. We have received some teaser photographs back and are absolutely stunned with her artistic ability! 10/10 would recommend her to any couple out there for their photographer, we could not be happier!!!!!

California born, Minnesota raised, currently enjoying life in Sioux Falls, SD with my husband and a quirky turtle named Hermione. Lover of Jesus, good food, Star Wars, and books. You deserve a wedding without stress and "we have to's" - a celebration that feels comfortable, fun, & true to your personalities. I love helping couples simply feel like themselves on their wedding day; creating space for them to make memories instead of just photos.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kylee took my engagement photos and wedding photos. They look like they belong in a magazine! She's a wonderful person to talk with and really listens to what you want and helps you when your stumped on what to capture. Her questions and interest in our life helped pick out the greenhouse and the dance hall as two places that would be perfect to capture our engagement photos and then at my wedding the photos of my friends and family were so good I printed them off and sent them with our thank you cards to each person. For the overall process she stayed in contact with me after booking to figure out a good date for the engagement photos and the day of wedding schedule and what items were important that we capture at the wedding. Her price was super reasonable and in the same range as other photographers I looked at. She got me back my photos SO FAST after the wedding and gave me sneak peaks before hand. Then as part of the package gave me a USB stick with all the photos in a super cute box with highlight photos printed off on nice paper along with the cloud photo album so I will always have access to them.

I believe in giving you photos of how your memories feel. I specialize in documentary wedding photography for all humans. I value authentic moments and connection to tell your wedding day story. We will collaborate on creating the images of your day and you can relax, knowing I have you covered.

We had a very small destination wedding on the beach in Destin, but we knew we wanted top-notch photography. Emily was great: professional, personable, and a really wonderful photographer! She sent over a bunch of previews within 24 hours. I’ve heard a fair number of horror stories from other brides when it comes to photography, and I’m so thankful Emily was exactly what we envisioned and wanted!

Hi! I’m Bri! Cameras have always been a passion, but it wasn’t until I left my corporate job that I fully embraced photography as my calling. I started by capturing Jiu Jitsu, focusing on its raw intensity, but soon realized I love the mushy gushy moments—tearful vows, quiet glances, and the joy of saying “yes” to forever. Now, I specialize in weddings, elopements, engagements, and proposals, blending storytelling with emotion and movement. With a keen eye for detail, I create images that feel natural, artistic, and deeply personal—telling your story exactly as it is.

Josh and I got engaged on 2/20/25 and Josh had hired Bri to photograph our engagement! She hid, I had no idea till after I was engaged. She did a wonderful job catching such a raw and beautiful moment between us!! Her and Josh even had to make a last minute plan and change locations for the surprise engagement due to weather, and she was very flexible, and worked with Josh the night before, and the plan worked out amazing, I still had no clue!! Bri is an amazing choice for a photographer for any occasion! Thank you Bri!

Mae Krell Photo
Rating: 5.0 (15 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Valley Springs, SD

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

Awarded Best of Zola
I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. My fiance and I truly cannot recommend her enough, and we are excited to work with her again in the future. She is truly an artist, and any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with her!

Hey there! I'm Eric, an outdoor-loving, laid-back wedding photographer based in the Midwest who lives for capturing those real, unfiltered moments that make each love story unique. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me hiking trails or discovering new local breweries. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with a touch of editorial flair—meaning I'll capture both those candid laughs during toasts and those naturally romantic moments during golden hour. The best photos happen when couples feel completely at ease and free to be themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Eric was amazing to work with and super communicative leading up to the wedding. On the day, he and Alexis (his second shooter) captured beautiful photos and documented the day perfectly, and even shot a video of our full ceremony and produced a highlight reel of clips from the day! They were always present but never in the way, and struck the perfect balance so we could fully enjoy our wedding day.

Brooklyn Kate Photo

  • Photojournalistic style

Hi, I'm Brooklyn — the photographer behind Brooklyn Kate Photo. I fell in love with wedding photography for the in between moments: the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the glance no one else catches. That's what I chase. I shoot on a mix of digital and film, giving my work a timeless, editorial feel over a trendy one. I recently moved my business to Chicago, though I still travel for destination weddings all over the world! Every wedding is different, and I love learning each couple's story first. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, so you can be present while I capture it all. If my style feels like a fit, I'd love to connect.

From our first conversation, Brooklyn Kate Photo made it clear she understood what we wanted for our wedding day. She communicated every step of the process with ease and kept us on schedule when things got hectic, which we really appreciated. Brooklyn captured both the candid moments that unfolded naturally and the specific shots we had envisioned, delivering photos that felt meaningful and true to our story. Her documentary style of photography showed the real emotion and joy of the day without feeling forced or overly posed. What impressed us most was how she managed to capture our vision even better than we could imagine it ourselves. We can't recommend her highly enough to couples looking for a photographer who is organized, responsive, and genuinely talented at her craft.

I’m Nikki. A Florida-based wedding photographer documenting the wild, sacred, beautifully imperfect parts of getting married. My approach is documentary, nostalgic, and a little bit undone. I’m there for the moments you didn’t plan for: your dad trying not to cry, your friends losing their minds on the dance floor, the quiet five minutes alone together, the weird little in-between moments you won’t realize mattered until years later.

Nikki was my college senior picture photographer. I wanted to do 3 very different photo shoots, as well as incorporate my college friends and my dog. Nikki was able to execute my vision perfectly!!! She knew the perfect locations and captured the vibe I was going for in each session perfectly. I am very detailed oriented and she made sure to capture all the small personal details I wanted included as well. These are my favorite pictures I’ve ever had taken. She was so encouraging and made me feel extremely comfortable behind the camera. Whether you are wanting something more traditional or something completely unique, Nikki will execute it beautifully!!

Your wedding is not a performance. It's the way you look at each other when no one's watching. Your hand finding theirs without thinking. My couples care more about what’s real than what looks good on a grid. They want gorgeous photos but also want them to mean something. The couples I work with have depth. Their stories have weight. They want someone behind the lens who sees them. Not just how they look, but who they are. Presence over performance. That's the closest I can get to naming it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Can’t rave about Danielle enough! She was highly attentive, detailed, and patient, even when my type B bridal brain was scattered. She stayed 30 min after her time to get photos of our cake cutting at no charge because she really wanted us to have the moment captured. We received a sneak peek just days after our wedding. The photos are gorgeous. Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful.

Based in New England & California, I capture celebrations of love and guide them through a layered visual process—transforming them into tactile keepsakes. My work blends editorial storytelling with an experimental approach, resulting in deeply personal and textured imagery. Alongside creative direction, my experience allows me to be an advisor for timeline shaping so the day moves with intention and room to breathe, building a collaborative storyboard, capturing visual analog film & super 8

I’m absolutely in love with Justina’s work! I’m usually very picky about photos of myself but every single photo Justina took for our engagement shoot and wedding turned out beautifully and genuinely captured the essence of our relationship. I’m so incredibly grateful we had the opportunity to work with her as her photos are stunning! In addition to being incredibly talented, she is also an absolute sweetheart to work with. My husband and I felt like we were just hanging out with a friend during our shoot which ultimately allowed for such natural photos. She truly went above and beyond during the wedding and captured the most precious moments. We were blown away by the quality and quantity of our preview wedding photos just one week after the wedding. We have already referred her to many of our friends and will continue using her for any photography needs in the future! Thank you so much, Justina!!

As a working photographer, I have the wonderful opportunity to capture people, places and things at their best. I am blessed with the opportunity to be a part of special milestones in people’s lives – engagements, weddings, anniversaries, graduating seniors, and family portraits. Photography is a wonderful way for me to capture these key moments.

Andre from Taj Photography was very communicative and responded quickly to all of our questions leading up to the wedding. There are not enough words to describe the quality of his work - he is a true master at photography. He captured all the special moments at the right times, and was able to come up with great poses and angles to take the perfect shots. From start to end, Andre was amazing and a pleasure to work with. He knew exactly the vibe we were looking for and he delivered 1000%.
