“We booked Christine with Barefoot Royalty for our wedding after meeting her at a bridal expo in Statesboro, GA. The Queen of Hearts package was the one that best suited our needs, which included an engagement session as well. My husband and I decided that we would like to have our session at the river on his dad’s property and Christine was on board and filled with excitement from the start! Little did she know our session would involve a dog, canoe, boat, champagne, and a very awkward couple. With all of these props, obstacles, and survival taking pictures from a moving riverboat in the Ogeechee, Christine got us through our engagement session. We were instantly blown away after our pictures arrived within the timeframe given! Our wedding day quickly arrived and was exciting, fun, and busy right from the start. Christine had a photography schedule for us to follow and worked as hard as possible to keep all of us on track (which was a VERY challenging task in itself). After the ceremony, Christine recommended “golden hour” pictures while our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. As much as I was excited to start visiting and celebrating with our guests, I am so happy she encouraged us to take the time because the pictures are PERFECT! The week of the wedding, we decided to book an extra hour with Christine to be able to capture more of our reception. Honestly, aside from booking Barefoot Royalty in the first place, this may have been our best decision yet! She and her second shooter stayed until 9 PM and captured so many fun reception pictures that we would not have had otherwise! Christine stayed in touch as the weeks passed while we waited for our full gallery to arrive… and boy were they worth the wait!!! Being able to relive our wedding day through the pictures has been so much fun. We are blown away by the talent she has, attention to detail, and how everything turned out. We would highly recommend Barefoot Royalty Photography for your engagement/wedding photos and would book with Christine every time if we had to do it over again!! Michael connected with us immediately, assured us he would make it happen and not to worry about a thing. We communicated over the phone and through email, he always answered every time I called, ready to listen and note my requests. The day of, the photographer Michael booked for us, Michaela Gardener drove hours to be there for our special day and even brought an assistant. She was willing to be hands on all day, treated my children like family and even stayed late to capture extra shots. Her experience shows from her work. Both the DJ and Photographer arrived early to set up and are experienced business owners. The photos are great quality and high resolution. They came out so beautiful, even with our imperfect family and little ones running around, she somehow made us look great. “It was such a pleasure to have Grace as our photographer throughout this wedding journey. We had her shoot our engagement photos (which we loved!) in addition to our wedding. She was very communicative. From the very beginning, she was clear on pricing. She would always work with my schedule when setting up meetings to go over timelines. She even went over every photo with me after the engagement shoot to make sure that we’re all exactly what I was envisioning. On our wedding day she literally went above and beyond for us as well. She brought an assistant with her, as well as some great props and florals to be used in the photos. She did an amazing job sticking with my detailed timeline, getting photos at every location I wanted on property, and did a great job corralling our families during cocktail hour and giving firm and efficient directions so we could get the pictures quickly and they could get back to the fun.
