I first fell in love with photography more than 20 years while working for my high school yearbook. After that, I pursued photography as a hobby while I studied Electrical Engineering, but in 2014 I decided that I still wanted to do something more meaningful. So started to pursue wedding photography by working for my friends company as a 2nd shooter. After gaining a lot of experience and 40 weddings later in 2015 I launched my own business and have be loving it ever since.

Brandon is a very talented photographer and videographer, comfortable to work with. He's also a very responsible person with great personality. Hire him, you won't regret!!!

A little back story. My fiance at the time had a bad falling out with a photography company. They were not willing to perform the services how we requested and so with almost 3 weeks until the wedding I was lost. My fiance at the time had a friend who had recently got married and reached out to him for the contact info. Insert A + M Badillo. They were AMAZING from the start! Wonderful communication and helped put my anxiety to ease with their work. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and they were spot on! Made me feel comfortable throughout the entire time and took some amazing shots! I could not be happier! Now that we have recieved our photos back, people are raving about them, asking when I will send them the link so they can make copies! When we got our thumbdrive, our expectations flew through the roof yet again! They went above and beyond with a personal box with our last name burned into it and some gifts along with the thumb drive. They do not do the minimum at all and work together as the perfect pair when capturing your big day! 1000% recommend them and will refer anyone and everyone who needs a photographer to them! We will for sure be reaching out on our year anniversary to capture more moments with them!

Carmelisse Photography

Long Beach, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,550

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
Wedding Veterans will tell you that your photographer really sets the tone of your wedding. They are much more than just the person that takes pictures. They take the time to understand who you are as a couple and the story you want to tell and really how you'll look back on your wedding day for years to come. Carmelisse was that and more for us. From the moment we saw her photos from mutuals' weddings we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding. In our first meeting, it felt like talking to a long-time friend and it was an easy decision for us to put all our trust in her and her team. She was the first person we hired after our wedding planner. We actually contacted her the month after we got engaged in 2021 but her 2023 book wasn't open yet. After conversing via text and email for months, we met her for the first time during our engagement shoot and she captured us and our dogs perfectly (YES, she capture our anxiety-ridden GSD mixes with smiles and they stood still, and the doggos absolutely fell in love with her husband, THANKS REX!!) She helped us pick the area and with putting together comfortable poses. Her turnaround time was so reasonable, the photos are just plain awesome. I have a hard time putting into words how great they are but I literally tear up with happiness every time I look through my album (which I still do ALOT). For the wedding day, Carmelisse and John kept us hyped and on schedule. A lot of things happen on the wedding day and Carmelisse was already ready to help us adjust and adapt. She captured all of our memories so beautifully. I can't stop singing her praises for her work and her as a person. She truly cares and it is seen through her work and her actions on the wedding day. AND Carmelisse is so stinking great - I went through a health scare the morning of my engagement shoot, I was trying to power through because I was afraid of canceling late but all Carmelisse cared about was that I was ok and she immediately rescheduled without additional thought. Carmelisse will be our forever photographer and we want her to shoot all of our future milestones. After our wedding, so many of our friends and family have already added her on Instagram for the future when she can shoot their wedding or life event.

Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

Santa Monica, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,000

My name is Gabbie, and I'm a wedding photographer for the couples who seek a non-traditional approach to their big day. I'm a sucker for a candid moment, intimate ceremonies, and black-and-white images from the 1980s. My work is photojournalistic — I approach weddings through a documentary lens, telling the truth with beautiful and timeless imagery.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used Gabbie for our wedding in November of 2021. She was so professional and so kind. Throughout the process, she took the time to get to know my husband and I. On our wedding day she felt like a friend and was a welcome guest. As someone who is not comfortable in front of the camera, Gabbie always made the process feel effortless. I could not recommend Gabbie more. The photos turned out amazing and I am so excited to show them off forever.

Holly Castillo Photography

Malibu, CA

  • Starts at $2,400

I'm a CA based and travel wedding photographer. I've photographed almost 200 weddings, and every single one goes by so quickly. I love my job because even though the day goes by fast, I get to find and capture those small moments, sometimes just a fraction of a second long, so they can be relived over and over in photographs. I have a photojournalistic and editorial style, plus 9 years of wedding experience under my belt, so trust me that I've got it while you are able to fully enjoy your day and be present.

Jess Onesto (formerly Cheers Babe Photo)

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style

Jess is a wedding photographer serving couples from Los Angeles to New York City. She specializes in documenting moments with honesty and optimism to showcase her couples’ love for each other, love for their people and their love for a damn good time. “My work is bold, enduring, and honest.” With more than a decade of experience as a photographer and a background in fine art and film photography, Jess approaches each wedding with intention and a sense of novelty. She works in both digital and film mediums and her work has been featured in publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Destination I Do and Brides.

Awarded Best of Zola
I met Jess Onesto, owner of Cheers Babe Photo, when I was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. I had been a bridesmaid many times at this point, but had never met a photographer like Jess. Jess has such an amazing energy and she managed to make hours of photos so dang fun! When I got engaged, the first thing I did for wedding planning was book Cheers Babe to capture our wedding day. Outside of marrying my husband, booking Cheers Babe was the best decision I made when it came to our wedding. When COVID hit, we went from having a destination wedding for 200 people to a 10-person wedding at my husband’s childhood home. Through all the ups and downs of planning our original dream wedding, cancelling that wedding, and re-planning another wedding, Jess was with us every step of the way. When you hire Jess, you are hiring more than a photographer. You are hiring a caring, passionate and empathetic human being who truly loves her couples. Jess is a wealth of wedding knowledge and she was there to offer advice, guidance and emotional support pre-COVID and after. It can be awkward posing for photos. Jess takes all of the awkwardness out of it and makes it feel natural and fun. We booked an engagement photoshoot with Jess before our wedding and I am so glad we did. She taught us tons of tips for taking photos that she referenced again on our wedding day. It made the whole thing so much more natural. Jess has a way of making her brides and grooms feel so beautiful and at ease, which shows in the end result. You can feel the joy and happiness when you look at her photos because that’s how she makes her couples feel!

Hi! I'm Kelsey! Fun-loving, boba-obsessed, dog-mom living in sunny SoCal. I have a very natural and candid style of photography where clients don't look or feel "posed" but are simply being in the moment! I help make shoots feel very comfortable, candid, fun, and genuine to each relationship.

Loved working with Kelsey on my surprise proposal. She was easy to bounce ideas off of. She made the process easy and helped so that I could just focus on the proposal itself. I didn't have to worry about the quality of pictures or angles or lighting. She took care of it all and I'm very happy with her work.

Fatima Elreda Photo

5.0

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500

I set my mind and soul to this craft about 5 years ago and my heart just grew with every couple I met and every story I learned and told through my favorite medium of photography. It is the absolute best feeling being able to photograph the genuine love and happiness a couple expels through their wedding day. Nothing can beat the emotions and the charm of that. It's an honor to be able to translate those emotions onto images so people can look back through them and get back those feelings years and decades later.

Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Fatima based off of all of her amazing reviews, and she did not disappoint! Not only is Fatima an absolute gem of a person, she is also incredibly talented! Her photography style is so classic and made us feel like we were in a magazine. We were so camera shy at first but she made us feel so comfortable. I truly feel like I gained a new, talented friend! On our wedding day, she made sure we were able to capture all of the photos we requested and was so flexible and efficient throughout our wedding day. We got our sneak peeks and are so in love with the photos, and we cannot wait to receive our full wedding gallery!
