Hi! My name is Joymar, but you can call me Joy. ¡También hablo español! I’ve been a photographer for over 6 years, and I bring a cheerful, high-energy vibe to every wedding I capture. My goal is to keep the atmosphere light and stress-free so you can fully enjoy your day while I document all the moments that matter most.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my willingness to go above and beyond. I’m not the type to sit back, I love making myself useful, whether it’s helping adjust a veil, organizing a group photo, or offering support wherever it’s needed, even setting up tables lol. I want couples to feel comfortable knowing I’m there not just as their photographer, but as an extra set of hands to keep the day running smoothly.

Hiring a photographer 1 week before our Wedding Day was so stressful! However finding Joymar on Thumbtack was an absolute blessing. He made us feel comfortable and at ease right from the start. He called and told us about himself and gave us such an amazing price we surely couldn't pass him up. He arrived early to the venue, went straight to work and stayed all day. At the end of the reception he showed us a sneak peek of 25 photos and they look amazing! We are so excited to see what else is to come. He was so professional, funny, humble and such a "joy" to work with, we will definitely recommend his service to anyone looking for a photographer. If we ever have a need for a professional photographer, Joy is the man we are calling!!

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also do retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for the portraits section.

I do with my video partner! We just need as many details as possible to give you a good quote!

The estimate of images varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
