“We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. We had dancing for 3 hours straight and not once did anyone leave the floor - the band was able to feel the energy in the room and chose the right song for the moment. “We found Bluewater Kings through the preferred vendor list at our venue , and we are so glad we did. They invited us to come hear them play at a live showcase, and we were immediately sold. We booked them that same night. One of the best parts of working with them was the planning process. Their online planning portal made it so easy to update our preferences and make adjustments in the months leading up to the wedding. Molly was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything feel seamless and organized. We also used their “iPad DJ” option so we could customize our cocktail hour and dinner playlists, along with a few songs during the band’s breaks. We had multiple schedule changes across two different sites that he handled perfectly and had suggestions for how to adapt and change the schedule to make everything work. We also had multiple musicians playing and he worked with them to ensure the sound quality for every part of the wedding and reception. He is so detailed and cared so much about giving us exactly what we wanted, despite our massive ask. He also did a site visit weeks in advance to ensure there would be no technical issues there and walked us through all the decision making around music, speeches, entrances, and scheduling.
