Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. The “dancing on the clouds” feature was such a magical touch for our night sky themed wedding—it made our first dance feel truly unforgettable. We also booked the "retro" photo booth which was a huge hit! Our guests were using it all night long with help from the lovely Shelby.
