I'm a California native with a wanderlusting soul. I grew up in the snowy mountains of Lake Tahoe and spent my teenage years in the rainforests of Costa Rica before returning to the West Coast of the United States to study the art of wedding photography and earn my BFA with Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California.

I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

Hi, I’m Trista, a native Angeleno, and I have been a Los Angeles Wedding Photographer since 2010. As a result, I’ve captured over 175 weddings in Los Angeles and around California. Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old.
