“Homayra is an incredible artist and I am so happy that I found her. I was immediately blown away by photos of her beautiful work when I was looking for a floral designer for my wedding in DC. I wanted to incorporate spring/summer colors into my wedding but I am not creative at all, so I was relying on Homayra to tie things together, and she absolutely nailed it! She created a vision board after we talked about what I was looking for, and I was amazed to see what she produced. “We do not have enough good words to share about Jolie! She is an incredible artist with florals, and every single detail was perfection. She worked closely with us to ensure we were getting our exact vision, and was an incredible partner in helping us talk through and pinpoint precisely what we wanted to achieve with colors, textures, styling to ensure we got it, but also didn't necessarily spend any more than we needed to, which was just such stand-up behavior from a vendor. The florals were one of the most complimented parts of our day, as well as when we were sharing pictures of our wedding day. I can't even begin to count how many family, friends, colleagues who weren't in attendance actually openly gaped at how beautiful the florals were in the photos! And more than that, she was so kind throughout. “OMG! I absolutely love Katy. From the initial appointment to determine what our vision was for the wedding and reception decor, I felt very at ease with Katy. Katy took great care to try and learn what my vision was for the wedding and how to use her expertise to create what I wanted. I liked that - and this enabled us to truly create a custom one of a kind look for our big day. Katy was kind, accommodating and responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. I would bounce things off of Katy and without hesitation, she would first clarify what my vision was, and then add her input based on her expert eye for detail, color coordination, etc. On the day of my wedding, I broke down into tears at the beautiful, dreamy atmosphere that Katy and her team had created for my spouse and I. It was literally everything thing I had dreamed of; it had the glitz, glamour, bling, sparkle, romance and more than I wanted. Katy even added touches here and there that she felt were needed to add more beauty to the venue. She exercised her creative rights. My guests could not and have not stopped talking about the beauty of it all. Additionally, a few days before the wedding, I was not pleased with a mock up of my bouquet (provided by another vendor) - and Katy to the rescue! Within about 3-4 business days, Katy and her staff PERSONALLY delivered the most beautiful, sparkling bouquet that I have ever seen (along with a jr. bouquet and corsages). She made it her business to make me happy. I am truly sad that I won't be talking to Katy as much any more since the wedding is now over. “We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! “Cassidy put together the florals for our wedding this weekend. We ordered arbor flowers that Cassidy recycled to our cake and sweetheart table. Unfortunately the wind during the first half of our reception was a little WILD so my current photos of that aren’t able to do it justice until my photos come in. However, I have some photos of the flowers before I sent them off for preservation as well. We also used Cassidy for rentals of pillar candles and bud vases. She assembled those and had welcome table greens for us, my bouquet, and my husband’s boutonniere. I was constantly adding things to the list like some spray flowers for my photographers for my flat lays. But she managed it. Cassidy attended our walk through to make sure that she saw the property and knew where our flowers would be doing. She provided some inspiration photos based on what I wanted and she delivered on that for sure! I think the centerpieces in particular were EXACTLY what I was looking for. She really nailed those and they turned out beautifully. When we didn’t know what we wanted or struggled to get a good vision going, she made some suggestions and went through the pros and cons with me of options. Her arrangements were dynamic, structural, cohesive and so intentionally crafted. We shared some specific elements/colors we wanted and she was able to run with our ideas and turn them into a full floral design vision board. Jessica had candles and votives, and sourced these gorgeous ribbons for the bouquets. She thoughtfully incorporated all our requests and was happy to adjust throughout the planning process. “Gypsy Hill Florals provided beautiful flowers for my wedding! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is they messed up my bridal bouquet. In our planning discussions, I provided an inspo pic but discussed verbally and in the contract it was stated that the bouquet was to be cascading and larger than the picture. The florist arrived and it looked exactly like the inspo picture and the contract was not followed. Luckily, they had excellent customer service and had someone remake my bouquet on site. Additionally, the rest of our flowers were beautiful and I have no complaints. All in all I would still recommend them since they handled the error well, my flowers were gorgeous, and I thought they had fair pricing.”

“The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”
