That said, we do accept commissions up to three months in advance depending on availability. Once booked, here's how the timeline works: designs are finalized at six weeks out, and guest and table counts are confirmed at thirty days so we can place our specialized flower orders early. The earlier we know, the more we can do.

Most Davidson Designs weddings begin around $10,000, is that a hard minimum?

It's a suggested starting point, not a dividing line. Every wedding is different; guest count, table count, and installation scale all shape the final investment. Every design includes the candles, candle holders, and lanterns needed to build a complete tablescape; no add-on fees. For larger structural elements like arbors or hanging installations, we work with trusted rental partners and handle the coordination directly. Everything reads as one cohesive design because we treat it that way.

Davidson Designs discourages repurposing unless logistics support it, what does that mean?

Three things have to be true: the photographer has documented the space fully set, no guests witness breakdown, and the moved florals genuinely add to the new setting. Our favorite version is rehearsal dinner florals flowing into the reception as an additional layer. We won’t combine our work with another florist’s designs; every installation we deliver is entirely ours.

Davidson Designs handles full breakdown — what happens to the flowers at the end of the night?

We return at the end of the evening to collect our candles, vessels, and hardware. The flowers are yours. Rather than send them to compost, we make sure they go somewhere meaningful — to family, guests, and the vendors who helped make your day possible or we can recommend services that will donate them to charitable organizations. It’s a small gesture that tends to mean a lot.
