My passion for floral design began over twenty years ago in a greenhouse in a small Michigan town, traveled through the mountains of Colorado and Arizona, to the beaches of Southern California, settling in Washington, DC. Education in graphic design has helped to sharpen my attention to detail and given me an eye for color and composition.

I find inspiration from all growing things, in the beauty and texture of flowers, fruits, herbs, and foliage. I’m fascinated with color and delight in combining the unexpected, foraging for the new and unusual, finding grasses, branches, or berries on a walk with my daughter, and dreaming of ways I can use them in my next design. I love all things lush, vintage, organic, and natural. I enjoy spending personal time with each of my clients, getting to know them and their vision, and bringing it to life with flowers.

    Jolie and her team were absolutely fabulous! Jolie was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She absolutely understood the particular vision we had in a way no other florist we talked to did, and she responded with unique creative ideas, with multiple options at different price points for every element for us to select from. We also really appreciated her use of seasonal, regionally sourced flowers and sustainable handling of waste. Jolie and her team truly went above and beyond to deliver the most beautiful, colorful, and unique florals we have ever seen at a wedding—and many of our guests agreed!     Jolie was the first vendor I hired and it was the best decision I made. She understood my vision for my wedding and far exceeded by expectations. When I told her my budget, she stayed within my range and gave me the best options. She is so easy and nice to work with too. The flowers at my wedding were exquisite and all of my guests were commenting on them. If you need a florist, hire Jolie! I would hire her and her team again in a heartbeat.
