My passion for floral design began over twenty years ago in a greenhouse in a small Michigan town, traveled through the mountains of Colorado and Arizona, to the beaches of Southern California, settling in Washington, DC. Education in graphic design has helped to sharpen my attention to detail and given me an eye for color and composition.

I find inspiration from all growing things, in the beauty and texture of flowers, fruits, herbs, and foliage. I’m fascinated with color and delight in combining the unexpected, foraging for the new and unusual, finding grasses, branches, or berries on a walk with my daughter, and dreaming of ways I can use them in my next design. I love all things lush, vintage, organic, and natural. I enjoy spending personal time with each of my clients, getting to know them and their vision, and bringing it to life with flowers.

Jolie is the best!
We do not have enough good words to share about Jolie! She is an incredible artist with florals, and every single detail was perfection. She worked closely with us to ensure we were getting our exact vision, and was an incredible partner in helping us talk through and pinpoint precisely what we wanted to achieve with colors, textures, styling to ensure we got it, but also didn't necessarily spend any more than we needed to, which was just such stand-up behavior from a vendor. The florals were one of the most complimented parts of our day, as well as when we were sharing pictures of our wedding day. I can't even begin to count how many family, friends, colleagues who weren't in attendance actually openly gaped at how beautiful the florals were in the photos! And more than that, she was so kind throughout. She humored the bride's 90-year old grandmother who went rogue and decided to show up to the venue so early, Jolie was still in the midst of setting up, and showed her nothing but kindness and some courtesy laughs. We have since gotten the bouquet and boutonniere pressed and framed so we can treasure the beautiful color and life that Jolie brought to our wedding day forever!

Great to Work With, Beautiful Results!
Jolie and Uncloudy Studio did an amazing job with our wedding at Iron Gate! Jolie did a great job going over the various floral options for our wedding and how the process worked. We felt very comfortable working with her the entire time and she absolutely brought our vision to life. And for the wedding, she did an amazing job decorating our venue and making sure we had everything we needed, from bridal/bridesmaids flowers to boutonnieres on jackets. All the details we wanted were present, and the florals were beautiful. We’re so happy that we hired Uncloudy Studio and highly recommend them.

Gorgeous product and a wonderful person!
Jolie is an absolute ARTIST and a true joy to work with for our wedding! From the very beginning, she completely understood and embraced our vision of leaning into the holidays. She helped us refine our ideas, always coming up with thoughtful suggestions while being respectful of our choices every step of the way. Our planning process with Jolie was smooth and enjoyable, thanks to her pleasant and organized approach. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was thorough yet never overly complicated, keeping things clear and straightforward. The planning phone calls were perfectly balanced—just enough to ensure everything was sorted without adding unnecessary stress. Jolie even went above and beyond by attending our venue walk-through and doing additional site visits on her own to make sure every detail would be perfect. On the wedding day, Jolie delivered beautiful personal bouquets, and our venue set up far exceeded our expectations. She created the most gorgeous arrangements for the mantel that we married in front of, as well as gorgeous and creative centerpieces that fit our holiday vision. Beyond her immense talent, Jolie is bright, caring, and bubbly—a true light throughout the process. Our flowers brought our wedding to life
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jolie and her incredible floral arrangements for our wedding! From our very first meeting, Jolie made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.
