Wedding events can take place at the following St. Joseph County Parks: St. Patrick's County Park, Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park, and Bendix Woods County Park Red Barn Package: St. Patrick's Farm is a historic barn built in 1925. Before becoming an event space, this barn was a dairy barn on St. Patrick’s Farm. The inside has been renovated, but the original barn doors, windows, and silos remain. The Pfeil Pavilion – a large, open-air shelter behind the Red Barn, is included. This space is perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, or even outdoor games. The Goodhew Gazebo is just a few steps away and is a popular spot to exchange vows. Other popular venues at St. Patrick's County Park include the Fragomeni Shelter, Covered Bridge/Grape Arbor, and/or the Manion Cabin. The Glenn Bauer Shelter and the STUDEBAKER trees at Bendix Woods County Park are popular for wedding ceremonies. Baugo Station at Ferrettie/Baugo Creek County Park is also a great option.

The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. Hamilton Lake's Cold Springs evolved from a 1870 farm purchase by Simpson Watkins. By 1885, Watkins Grove hosted picnics, leading to a hotel (1898), dance hall, and early 1900s recreation. Cold Springs Cottage Park, platted in 1896, grew significantly, with a unique leasing system. Sundays featured bands and speakers. Visitors arrived by train. A larger hotel opened in 1914, and the dance hall became a central draw with live music. A beach area developed later. The hotel prospered through the 20th century, adding a bar and modernizing. An 18-hole golf course was built. Dancing remained popular with big bands, later transitioning to rock. Today, Cold Springs offers a hotel, dining, bar, beach, golf, cottages, and retro dances, still family-run after five generations.
