She tells your story through her lens in a way that feels so much more than just "a photo". She is an artist in every form of the word and she is brilliant at her craft. I feel like every photo she takes could have a poem or heartfelt story attached. Everything is so intentional and beautifully crafted. She is so good about making you look natural, unposed and authentically you. She is so much more than I could have ever imagined our wedding photographer would provide. She worked closely with us on timeline, making sure everything was comfortable, she paid attention to what we liked or didn't like. Audra was always on time, always prepared and I am so grateful that one of the only things I will be able to take with me from my wedding day(s) will be the photography she so artfully captured so we can remember as many details as possible (because it truly does go so fast). I cannot say enough good things, she was hands down my favorite vendor and if you love the work you see, I promise you, she can make that happen for you too. I truly cannot believe some of her art work is us and I will cherish it for a lifetime. “I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. My husband is in the military so we never got a chance to meet John or do an engagement shoot before the wedding day—it didn’t matter. John was so easy to be around, both my husband and I immediately felt like he was one of the group. (So did all of our wedding party) My husband, who normally doesn’t exactly enjoy picture taking, even admitted he had a ton of fun taking pictures because John made it such a blast. It felt so natural and easy. The pictures were absolutely beautiful and felt like he really captured the essence of the day. “Amanda was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I can't say enough great things about Amanda. She is incredibly talented and the consummate professional. We went a non-traditional route for our wedding, deciding to get married in the morning off the blue ridge parkway, and then hike up to the top of humpback rocks with our guests to celebrate our marriage at the top of a mountain. That meant having Amanda get up early to capture the ceremony and then do the hike with us (haha!). She was incredible, and brought along her photographer friend to help during the morning to get all the action. Later that evening, she met back up with us when we cleaned up for some portraits with family, and some of our absolute favorite couple photos we've ever taken on the downtown mall. I don't feel like words do justice -- the photos of our memories say everything I couldn't ever possibly put into words. I should also mention that thanks to her phenomenal photos, we were one of the couples selected for a Cville wedding magazine issue! Amanda is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We will always be thankful for her and think of her often when we pass our beautiful canvas photos of that day hanging around our house. :)”
