“My husband and I had our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm this past weekend 10/26/2024 and it was an absolute dream. Not only was it the dreamiest wedding because we got married in front of all of the people we love, but because of the absolutely beautiful venue and the team that brought it to life. Morten & Min, the owners were so helpful, kind and just the brightest lights from the moment we met them when we toured the venue through the planning phase and our wedding day. They clearly have a very buttoned up and efficient process, which showed the day of. Now let me talk about the rest of staff … they are AMAZING. We worked with Lawrence and Rosie the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of and not only did they go above and beyond at their jobs, they truly seemed so happy to be there. There were a number of other team members behind the scenes that helped bring together a seamless wedding (we barely even noticed them - in a good way!) so thank you to the team. This includes the chefs cooking it up in the kitchen, while we didn’t see you … we were told by friends and family how delicious the food was / it was the best wedding food they ever had. The risotto…. Oh my was it delicious!! Another amazing benefit of Blenheim Hill Farm was their recommended babysitter, Victoria - she watched 5 of the kids who attended ceremony but not reception right on the grounds. She made arts and crafts and carved pumpkins with them! The parents and kids were very happy with her. Lastly, all we have to say is….. GET MARRIED HERE!!!!”

“We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out at Mountainville Manor. The venue is beautiful, but the real magic is Lauren and James and the rest of the Mountainville Manor team. They were so accommodating and hard working, making our day feel personal and stress free. It was a huge help to have their vendor recommendations as a starting point, and all of the vendors were great too! I have had so many of our guests tell me how much they enjoyed the wedding, especially the food. Someone even told me that the steak was the best they ever had! All of the food was so good. I only hope someone I know decides to get married there so I can experience Mountainville Manor as a guest. It was special to have all of our family and friends in a place that made us feel like family. The day felt easy and fun for us and our guests. Thank you Mountainville Manor!”

“One reason we chose City Winery was they are an all inclusive venue. They provide everything, set up and take down. All I had to do was drop things off and pick things up afterwards. They truly were such a big help. The other reason we chose City Winery was because it is the most stunning venue ever. The industrial/winery theme was exactly what my husband and I were looking for on our wedding day. We had our ceremony by the water, and our cocktail hour in the Courtyard. We got so many compliments on the beauty of the venue and how great all the food was. We could go on and on about all the great things City Winery has to offer. Definitely the best choice to choose them as your wedding venue.”

“Absolutely magical. Getting married at Rushmore Estate was like stepping into a dream. From the moment we arrived at the grand gated entry to our lakeside bonfire after-party, everything was beyond what I ever imagined. The property is stunning, with 50 acres of pure serenity, scenic views, trails, and that private lake? Unreal. The staff was incredible—so helpful, patient, and genuinely dedicated to bringing our vision to life. What really set the experience apart was how thoughtful and accommodating they were from start to finish. Months before the wedding, they helped coordinate an amazing bachelorette weekend for me and my bridesmaids. They arranged airport pickups, planned day trips into the city, and even recommended a walking trail right on the property. The night before the wedding, we had a peaceful slumber party in one of the estate’s suites. No stress, just laughter, wine, and the kind of calm I never thought possible before a wedding. Every single detail, from the day trips to the fire pit after-party, was handled with care. If you're looking for a venue that’s elegant, relaxing, and full of heart, Rushmore Estate is it.”

But where the venue shines is the day of the event.  Cristie and her team work hard to help make your day happen and it was obvious the effort they put in to make sure your day is exactly the way you want.  They went over and beyond on multiple occasions to accommodate our requests!   I highly recommend having your next event/wedding at drowned lands.”

“Blooming Hill Farm was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We had the pleasure of working with Caitlin and Kate throughout our planning process, and both were absolutely incredible to work with. They made our wedding planning go so smoothly, and we were amazed by the attention to detail they brought to all our planning calls. They were able to provide so much guidance and had such great recommendations for local vendors. When the weather forecast started looking rainy the week of, Kate was so comforting - walking us through the rain plan, keeping us in the loop on all rain plan decisions, and keeping everyone's spirits high. Even with the rain on our wedding day, the venue was somehow even more beautiful. Getting to hear the birds chirping and rain falling throughout the ceremony was absolute magic, and the staff was so quick with umbrellas on hand that no one had to worry about getting wet. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible - all our guests agreed that it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding, and people were able to try everything since they offer family style dinners. We did bring a few rentals in, and Kate coordinated with those vendors as well as our band and photographer so that we hardly had any logistics to worry about during the wedding weekend. We truly cannot say enough positive things about BHF, Kate, and the whole team - and we're so happy that we can keep coming back for meals at the restaurant!!”

“Bear Mountain Inn was the only venue we toured and booked it immediately for our wedding September 2025. Many reasons made us confident in booking BMI, which includes the sentimental value for us and our guests, the stunning Bear Mountain State Park, the gorgeous Lodge. What really sealed the deal was meeting our amazing coordinator Tracey. I'd like to highlight how incredibly passionate and kind Tracey is as a person. She was super reliable for us to reach and transparent in communications. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and honestly miss her presence in our lives. I would visit BMI from time to time prior to the wedding and run into Tracey on the grounds, she would always pause to talk to me and catch up. The day of the Wedding, Tracey was on point! She handled the day so well, we didn't even need a day of coordinator! I don't know how she does it all, but I am eternally grateful she was there through it all for us. Now I would like to move onto the BMI itself! Our rehearsal dinner was in the Merry Go Round, I mean it was such a great way to kick off our Wedding Weekend. So magical and pretty. Also guests got to ride the Merry Go Round, which was a top tier memory of ours. We got married in the Perkins Ballroom & Harriman Ballroom in the Main Lodge. The space is so unique. I would tip upcoming couples to consider lighting options because it really does transform the space into anything you desire. Now the food, one word incredible. Highly suggest visiting their restaurant 1915, the chef and team cater the wedding. I could not be happier with how well it all turned out!”

“My fiancé and I are getting married at The Abbey Inn & Spa this fall. All I can say is this venue is absolutely FLAWLESS!! What makes it so flawless is how they kept the history of Peekskill tide in throughout the entire venue. Hands-down to Eileen who is the wedding coordinator at The Abbey Inn & Spa. From the moment we met her there was a connection. Any questions I had she answered with extreme confidence. She tells you how it is and I absolutely love that! She is always checking in especially with COVID-19 pandemic. Eileen is truly first in class. You will not want to look at another venue after you see The Abbey! ❤️”

“I can't thank the team at Mountain Creek enough for being such a huge part of why our day was so perfect. The planning team of Colleen, Jessica, and Alyssa were wonderful. They were so easy to work with, answered questions before you thought to ask them, and when you did have your own questions always took the time to lay everything out. From start to finish we had a great experience with them. The day of team was amazing and truly went above and beyond. Suzy and Diona were the best to work with. I want to give a shout out to Diona in particular. She was my bridal attendant but did so much more. She also was the full day of coordinator. She was super prepared, had everything you could possibly need, oversaw everything, and truly ensured the day went perfectly. She was incredible. The staff all know exactly what they're doing, and have everything down pat. The venue itself gets truly transformed for weddings. The mountain top view for the ceremony was breathtaking and our guests will not stop talking about it, and the gondola ride each way. We also got so many compliments on the food. I absolutely recommend having a wedding here. Mountain Creek made our whole day so incredibly special and I can't thank them enough. Best day ever!”

We wanted to share the food we love and enjoy with our family and friends. We have been to so many weddings where the food was just underwhelming. Alan's did not disappoint. We still receive so many comments on how much the food was enjoyed and the People at Alan's worked very hard to make sure our day went smooth and we were left satisfied. “Our wedding at the Bird and Bottle Inn was better than I could have imagined. Stefania was a dream to work with. She was quick to answer questions, no matter how big or small. She was upfront in her communication. She was totally grounding and easy to talk to, especially on the day. But most of all, she made us feel like our day was important and special. The food was 10/10. Guests are still talking about our food four months later. Everything was delicious and HOT! It was remarkable that each plate had hot food that had to come from the kitchen to the tent. It felt like a seated meal at a 5 star restaurant. All food allergies were taken into account. People with allergies were still able to have a delicious meal where they didn't have to worry. I cannot say enough kind words about the staff. They were passionate about good service. Each table remarked on how kind, professional, and knowledgeable their waiter was. Like Stefania, they made us feel like our day was special and unique, not just another event they were working. The grounds and rooms are stunning and comfortable. It rained on our day and staff were able to quickly turn around and make sure our ceremony in the tent was beautiful. We didn't even care that it rained because the ceremony was still wonderful. Perhaps the highest compliment is that our guests are recommending the Bird and Bottle to their friends for their wedding. I can't say enough good things about this venue. If you are looking for a charming place to get married with exceptionally kind staff that knows exactly what they're doing and has AMAZING food, this is the place for you.”

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Felina. From start to finish, they were beyond amazing. I came in with a million questions during the entire planning process and never once felt like a burden. Every single question was answered with patience, detail, and care. Carissa, the venue coordinator, is an absolute lifesaver. She’s so helpful, so knowledgeable, and honestly just a gem throughout the whole process and beyond. I don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. And the food… the food was absolutely amazing. From cocktail hour all the way through the reception, everything was perfect. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we completely agree. Everything ran so smoothly from beginning to end. The moment I saw Felina, I just knew that’s where we were getting married. I didn’t even tour anywhere else, it was an easy decision. Our maitre d, Riccardo, was beyond phenomenal. He made sure we had everything we needed the entire night, from drinks to keeping everything on schedule to even helping us pack up the car at the end. He wouldn’t let me lift a finger. They truly make you feel like family there. Every single staff member at Felina was incredible. I can’t recommend them enough. It was everything we dreamed of and more.”

“We could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony venue for our wedding! Communication with Stephen was incredibly easy—he was always willing to help and went above and beyond by taking us on multiple tours, sharing the full history of the space. Coordinating a pianist for the ceremony was seamless, and they were even able to practice in the space beforehand. Our florist had no issues setting up, and everything went smoothly. Our rehearsal was excellent, with Stephen on site to offer helpful input from previous weddings. Practicing the doors with him was invaluable, especially since he was there on the wedding day to ensure everything went perfectly. On the day of the ceremony, Stephen and Linda were both on site, greeting guests and vendors, and they helped us secure a separate space for personal items. The ceremony went exactly as we rehearsed—smooth and flawless. The space itself is gorgeous, intimate, and the views of the river were absolutely stunning, especially on the perfect day we had. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and seamless experience for our wedding ceremony.”
