I started as a full-time nightclub DJ and after a decade transitioned to weddings. To date I've entertained 1000+ weddings to prepare for your celebration. Many of my past clients have described me as "the most un-wedding DJ, wedding DJ there is." I don’t conform to the typical stereotypes that may lurk in your nightmares after you attended bad weddings. This includes an exaggerated voice, a bunch of inflatable props, and I do not impose line dances and tacky clichés. Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Ken Schaffer, started the company in 1977 at the ripe old age of fourteen! He started providing DJ entertainment for grade schools and parties and as he grew older demand for his company’s services soared. Soon, those same students he was playing for in school gymnasiums and cafeterias were getting married and many hired his company to perform at their weddings. Ken gradually handed the reins of the company over to the very capable hands of his brothers, Jon and Dave Schaffer.
