“What an amazing experience working with Joey. He was very thoughtful in curating the music for our day and I hope you find what you are looking for with him. I am a wedding vendor of 15 years as well doing hair, makeup and morning concierge. One of my past brides at one of my most favorite venues to work at is how I was introduced to Joey. After coming out of the hair room I love taking a moment to walk around the venue and there he was playing the cello along with some background music. I was hooked. I love that he was incorporating songs of today with the art of an instrument. I found it unique and something I wanted to showcase at my wedding. I didn’t want people to walk up to just music playing in the space, but an experience. Joey took the time to do 2 calls with us, one being over the phone and the second being over zoom. He came with a detailed questionnaire of how we wanted our wedding to go. It was so detailed that even a music mood girl I didn’t even think of. The calls were scheduled for 30 minutes but he didn’t hesitate to chat with me for over an hour on how I wanted it to be curated. I had already started 2 wedding playlists, but he added and sent me 5 to 6 albums to fill out of songs I loved and wanted. I had over 10 hours of music to play and not only did he take those into consideration he added music that my guests also requested. He even accepted me saying change this song and only play the 10 year olds music every 10 songs He needed to set up in two spaces, one for the ceremony which was outside on our property. He was set up and playing by the time guests arrived. Everyone I spoke with loved the music selection, which I told him “Bridgerton vibes” and he ran with it. After the ceremony his assistant had music playing for the cocktail hour while they broke down the equipment in the ceremony area. I was blown away by the lights that were brought and the look of everything. Microphones worked for speeches and he even had a stand for those who wanted to use them. We didn’t do a traditional walk in but he announced us perfectly and we ran around the tables saying hello to our friends and family. I would recommend Joey to anyone looking to have an experience for their guests, have a DJ but also want strings all in one. He was professional, timely and for someone who did not have a day of coordination or planner very informative. I wanted vendors to do what they do best and I’m glad I trusted him to provide us with music throughout the day and night!”

Our wedding on June 27, 2025, at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, CA, was everything we dreamed of and so much more, and honestly, a huge part of that credit goes directly to them. We spent 11 months planning every detail, and booking Golden Bell Music as one of our very first vendors was hands-down the best decision we made. The band/DJ hybrid concept? Pure genius! It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. All of our "must-plays" were there, the do not-play was respected, and the dance floor never once emptied And talk about flexibility! We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! “Jerod and his team are absolutely incredible and I’m not sure where to start in singing their praises. From the very beginning Jerod was energetic, positive, extremely responsive, communicative, detail-oriented, professional, and most importantly you could tell that he genuinely cares. He cared about understanding what the bride and groom wanted, he cared about making the entire day special and smooth, and he cared about making sure that the dance floor was packed and had great vibes all night long. He was proactive and prompt about working with my other vendors and I always felt at ease that he was handling everything that he needed to. We had 4 different locations (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dance floor) where he set up his audio/emcee equipment plus a photo booth near the dance area. Everything was totally smooth, great audio quality, and he was super professional and fun for the parts that he emceed (introducing wedding party, speeches, even cake cutting, etc). A few memories stand out to me that were made possible by Jerod: - My husband and I did a first dance that started out slow and then turned more upbeat and ended with him picking me up as the beat drops and all of our friends rushing on the dance floor. At that moment, Jerod had coordinated the lights to go from soft whole-room lighting so that everyone could watch the first dance to dark/party uplighting when the beat dropped and everyone rushed in. It was awesome and so memorable and fun! - Jerod let me and my husband DJ behind the booth for a song which was so fun and out guests loved it! - He also coordinated for us to have a private last dance as our guests headed to the after-party, and that private moment at the end of the night was so special. I highly recommend JAM entertainment and am so thankful I had them on my wedding day”

“I was blown away by the talent of the musicians, they really take their craft seriously. I requested a Roaring Twenties theme from Louis Pettinelli and they went above and beyond to make it happen. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

“Richard is a spectacular DJ. All he wants is for you to feel happy and that your needs are met. He was very laid back and easy to work with and communicate our preferences to. His timing the day of was excellent - he did a great job mc'ing for us, and the music was exactly what we wanted. He also had so many options for us to choose from with his skillset, we felt like we had a lot of options to customize what we wanted. We have heard nothing but good things from our wedding attendees about how great the music was. Dancing on the night of our wedding remains one of the happiest memories of my life, and it's thanks to Richard. 10/10!”

“We had jonny as our dj. We were looking for a bilingual dj in our area. We had difficulty finding someone here locally so we began looking out of state. Jonny’s profile on instagram came up and thought he was a great fit. We talked to chris and he went out of his way to make the travel, the hotel accommodations, and even the dj rentals outside of their own equipment to make our day work! Jonny took part in all of our meetings. They both where great to work with as we went through our song choices, the timelines, and gave us a lot of great advice in how we planned our day. The day of jonny took great care of us. He was there early to set up, got with the event coordinators, and adjusted to any on the spot changes needed. The music was great, as a bilingual couple, the music, the ability to MC and communicate everything in both english and Spanish went by smooth! Jonny truly has a gift in reading the room, playing music, and being a great MC. Both chris and jonny work great to make any accommodations, to make our day as stress free as possible.”

“CVU Event DJ's was absolutely fantastic for our wedding! Communication was fantastic and responses were very quick. The quality of their work and value was exceptional - everyone raved about the music. The goal of our wedding was fun and boy did Chris deliver! He was so responsive and helped us make the day perfect. Everyone had the best time and the music was AMAZING! Everyone was on the dance floor!! Everyone we have talked to raved about the music.
