“From our first meeting I know Matty would be the perfect fit. He is super kind and incredibly professional. He led us through the wedding process with ease and smiles. He listened to our requests and added his own magic which I knew he would do. The dance floor was packed!! Matty was perfect in his execution- never stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom and he didn’t sing and shout over the music which we appreciated! (That has a time and place but not for this wedding). He pulled together instrumentals for the ceremony and managed the artists and added musicians at the reception and it really brought out the celebratory vibe of the night. We were all smiles and many and he was too! Amazing job! Hire him asap or you will miss out:)”

““Your wedding band was amazing,” was what I heard the most from my guests after they remised about the night, and everyone is right, The Last Nites are amazing. Waylan and team put on a show and made my wedding night unforgettable. Music was huge for me so when I went to hire a wedding band, I went to a lot of shows before booking. The Last Nites was by far the best band I went to see. From their song selection, to the way they work the stage, if you’re not dancing it’s because you’re sitting and you’re most likely still bopping your head. We hired TLN for the entirety of the wedding: Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All of it was perfect. For the song selections, we were able to choose a good amount of songs that we liked from their wide array of songs, and then TLNs put together a set list based on our tastes, which, they nailed. They learned our first dance, a father-daughter dance, and also a ceremony procession song, all of which were perfect. I’ve always wanted to walk to a song from my favorite video game and although it seemed really hard and somewhat impossible, Waylan made sure it happened. I still get emotional thinking about the rendition I was lucky enough to walk to, it really made my wedding day that more special. Everything about working with The Last Nites was perfect, and they made my wedding that much more amazing; it felt like I wasn’t at a wedding, but a show where everyone was on the floor dancing. The team showed up on time, set up, and looked amazing. Everything was super professional and on point. I can’t recommend The Last Nites enough, and anyone who attended my wedding, or I bet even sees them perform, would say the same.”

“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

“If you are currently wedding planning and debating between the elegance of live musicians or the versatility of a DJ, stop looking and hire Justin and Skylark Music immediately. Working with Justin was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our big day. With Skylark, we effectively "had our cake and ate it too." We were initially torn because we wanted the romantic atmosphere of live instruments, but we also wanted a high-energy party with our specific favorite songs (which a band is often limited by). Plus, full bands are insanely expensive. Justin offered the perfect hybrid solution. We were able to have a stunning guitar, violin, and cello trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then transition to Justin DJing the reception. It was the best of both worlds—we saved on the cost of a 10-piece band but sacrificed absolutely nothing in terms of quality or vibe. Beyond the music itself, Justin’s professionalism is unmatched. He walked us through every step of the planning process. But the true test of a vendor is how they handle stress. A couple of months before our wedding, our venue suddenly updated their outdoor music guidelines. We were in a total panic, thinking our ceremony plans were ruined. We let Justin know, and he responded immediately with a calm, "can-do" attitude. He adjusted the instrumentation to meet the new rules quickly and sorted it out without us having to lift a finger. He also went above and beyond to personalize the evening. We have a close friend who is a singer, and we wanted her to perform a couple of songs during the reception. Justin didn't hesitate; he coordinated directly with her to ensure the audio levels were perfect and the logistics were seamless. It ended up being such a special moment, and Justin made it happen effortlessly. And then, there was the party. Justin transitioned to MC/DJ duties and read the crowd perfectly. Because we chose the DJ route for the reception, we got to hear the original versions of all our favorite tracks. The dance floor was absolutely wild all night long. The energy was so high that at one point, while we were taking portraits outside, our photographer actually stopped and told us, “There is literally a rave going on inside.” From the elegant strings and the special guest performance to the absolute rager at the end, Justin executed everything perfectly. “Choosing Just the Melody Band was hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding! Melody and Edvin (and the whole band!) are so talented, not to mention so versatile! My fiance and his family are from Mexico and my family is from the US, so we wanted to be able to dance to US wedding classics and early 2000s throwbacks as well as Latin pop, Shakira, and lots of traditional Mexican music and cumbia! We went into our vendor search having no expectation that we’d find a band that could do ALL of that — but we lucked out finding Just the Melody! They can do it all, and SO well! Our wedding guests were on the dance floor until 1am! They also learned our first dance song for us and performed it almost better than the original :) Above all, they were so kind and accommodating and fun to work with and they cared so much about making sure the evening went exactly how we wanted it to go. “Dan was absolutely amazing as the DJ for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 2026! He struck such a great balance between being organized, professional, and genuinely fun to work with. From the beginning, we felt confident that he understood the kind of night we wanted. Our music taste was all over the map — traditional Chinese music, ’90s emo, K-pop, country, and classic wedding dance floor staples — and Dan somehow made it all feel cohesive. He took our requests seriously, read the room beautifully, and kept the dance floor packed right up until the end of the night. He was also an excellent MC and audio professional. He helped us with some custom audio requests during the ceremony, we had no issues with mics or sound at all (I was worried) and during the reception, he kept the timeline moving, made announcements at the right moments, communicated well with our planner, and brought the perfect amount of energy without taking over the spotlight. As a stressed out, perfectionist bride, I had no worries with Dan. We could not have asked for a better DJ!”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“From our first call with Ben, we knew we would be in good hands for our September 2025 wedding. After briefly discussing the type of music we love, Ben immediately understood our vibe and listed off several other artists he correctly assumed we were fans of. Leading up to the wedding, he was very easy to communicate with, taking time to understand what we were looking for and the different vibes we were hoping to create. We were impressed with just how well-versed he is in different genres of music. On the wedding day, Ben brought that same positive and energetic energy, which made our wedding so special.
