“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“From the very beginning, Daniel exceeded every expectation. Daniel was extremely organized and followed up immediately after every meeting, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process. As an interracial couple blending of our cultures was important to us and having a bilingual DJ and MC was a non negotiable. Daniel was the perfect fit. He was very fairly priced and offered everything we were looking for, including CO2 guns, a Photobooth with an attendant, and the ability to personalize the Photobooth experience for our guests — all of which ran incredibly smoothly. It was helpful to have all of these things through one single vendor rather than multiple people to coordinate. What truly set him apart was how intentional and thoughtful he was with our music. He helped us create a detailed plan that included songs we loved, songs we didn’t want played, and the exact timing for everything. Most importantly, he seamlessly blended both of our cultures throughout the night in a way that felt natural and effortless. Our dance floor was full the entire night. He also communicated directly with our wedding planners to ensure the timeline was perfect, which allowed the day to flow without a single hiccup. “I'm not kidding. Stop looking for DJs, photo booths, etc. and just book Team Wedding Day. If they're not available or already booked, well then move your wedding. Yes you're looking to book a DJ, but what you don't realize you need is mics for the ceremony, lighting, an emcee who won't make your wedding cheesy, and more. Niko was so amazing to work with leading up to the event and includes so many things in one big package that it's so nice to just check things off in one swoop. Team Wedding Day had us covered back to front. Niko is so nice and kind on the phone, so when he started mixing sick-nasty beats during the dance party, I was like "OMG who is this guy!" He fit our vibe perfectly, followed our play/don't play list, and emceed our wedding like a true pro. Niko listens, but pushes back when he thinks something would work better from his experience and it was so nice to work with him. During the cocktail hour and diner, he was always keeping tabs with us, making sure we stayed on schedule, asking if we needed anything, etc. and it gave us so much confidence that things were running smoothly. Everyone at our wedding commented on how fun the dance floor was and it was 100% Niko. The photo booth was SUPER nice, much better than any I've ever used or seen before. And at the end of the night, they gave us a little album of every photo strip everyone had taken which was super unexpected but such a great surprise! All in all, one of the best vendors and decisions we made when planning our wedding. Can't recommend Niko and his team enough.”

“I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”
