“A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

He photographed both our engagement near Beacon, NY and our wedding in Glen Ridge, NY at the Glen Ridge Women's Club, and the results were incredible across the board. For our engagement shoot, which was mostly outdoors, Ihor recommended the best time of day so the lighting would be perfect, and it really shows in the photos. We moved around to several locations on the property, and even though the shoot was only about an hour, we ended up with tons of great shots. He was easy to work with and gave helpful direction that made us feel and look comfortable on camera. On our wedding day, Ihor arrived on time, stayed engaged the whole evening, and captured so many meaningful moments. Our venue was fairly dimly lit, but everything came out sharp, colorful, and beautiful. He did a great job capturing both the big moments and the candid ones in between, along with the emotion throughout the day. He also delivered way more photos than we expected, including a preview just a couple days after the wedding. Beyond the photos, Ihor is a genuinely great guy and a pleasure to have around. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun.
