Hi I'm Bev! I love my work because you mean to tell me I get to come to your best day ever and make art out of your day? Sign me up! Your wedding is a creative labor of love and I look forward to showing everyone how they can be a work of art on the day they are surrounded with the most love and joy! I started with film and now my digital work reflects the energy of cinema and vintage film grain. I love to make even the little moments look like a whole mood.

My art takes a moment and turns it into energy in a still. The vibration of a room, the glow of the sun, the shadows that fall in just the right way are all captured with emotion and depth. I am looking at all the details of the day as well as the mood, the energy, and everything in between. I am inspired by color and shadow as well as the tearful moments and bursts of laughter. I'm here to give you daydream fuel.

A delight to work with!
Bev was an absolute delight to work with! The process felt like a collaboration where she was incredibly responsive the entire time and excited to help us with achieving the perfect photos for both our engagement shoot and the actual wedding. She incorporated multiple forms of photography as well, including polaroids, with a stunning candid of my sister and her wife they were thrilled to take home with them. We really wanted to work with Bev due to her unique style, and we are so happy we did. She was somehow everywhere and able to capture every important moment, but also blended in seamlessly and was never intrusive. She was also very communicative with the venues we shot at and handled everything in a way that really helped take the burden off of us. It’s obvious that she has built up relationships with vendors who seem to all love her as much as we do. She really is a photographer that goes above and beyond (even going so far as grabbing us waters and checking in on us emotionally and physically) and even if she wasn’t there taking BEAUTIFUL pictures, her presence was a gift of its own. As someone to work with she’s very professional, incredibly adaptive, and easy to communicate with. And as a photographer her work is absolutely gorgeous with a strong sense of aesthetic and the ability to utilize her surroundings to their fullest extent for the perfect shot.

Highly Recommend!!
Bev is absolutely brilliant. Her photography evokes so much emotion, so much magic, so much love. Having her photograph my wedding was the best decision I made, second to marrying the love of my life! She is thorough, creative, and attentive: she pays attention to the details so you don’t have to. I wanted my photos to look like stills from a movie—Bev delivered!! Newborn shoot
I recently had the joy of working with Beverly from The Midsummer Reverie for a “First 48 Hours” photo shoot of my newborn son, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Bev has an incredibly creative, wispy, and whimsical eye — she captured the quiet magic of those first tender moments with such grace and artistry. Her presence was calm and comforting during a very emotional time, and she managed to preserve not just how everything looked, but how it felt. She also helped me to feel very comfortable while being uncomfortable and postpartum. Every photo tells a story — from the tiny fingers to the sleepy expressions, all wrapped in soft, dreamy light. The gallery she delivered brought me to tears and gave me memories I’ll cherish forever.
