We are Gabe & Molly, Pittsburgh based wedding videographers. Married for 13 years, we are actually obsessed with not just filming weddings, but telling your story. Our number one goal is documenting your wedding exactly how it happened! “Perfectly Imperfect” is how we celebrate your story. We are all about capturing those raw and untamed moments of your day. Our job isn’t to script your story or your wedding day; it’s to authenticate it in the form of video, for not just you to relive, but to preserve legacy. Imagine being able to see your grandparents’ wedding day like you were there. That is what our goal is – nostalgia for a lifetime.

When we say that no two wedding films are the same, we truly mean it. We are here to learn about you and get to know you, to tell a story that is just…you! We shoot for the moments, not for the look. Those perfectly composed Vogue shots are nice, but do they transport you back to that feeling, that high you had on the single greatest day ever? You're still going to look amazing! But we're here to give that feeling back, not just the visuals. I aim to give you all of the feelings. Those quirky moments are just as important as the emotional moments, and those are just as important as the sheer joy and excitement. We’re here to catch it all!

    Where do I even begin. I’ve known Molly and Gabe for many years, so when it came time to hire a photographer and videographer for my wedding , there was no doubt I was going to ask them to do it. Not only because I have known them, but I’ve followed their work. They are VERY detail oriented and love what they do. They are awesome at making you feel less awkward when trying to be purposefully cute, and they capture every moment asked. My wedding in the Dominican Republic was nothing short of perfect and I cry at even watching the sneak peak of photos and videos as they far exceeded my expectations and made it very personalized to my husbands and my wedding. I loved watching them have fun while working and even while working we all laughed and had a good time. They have truly become our friends. I would without a doubt recommend illumination studios for any photographer or videographer needs, and we will be using them for sure in the future! Thank you again Molly and Gabe for everything you did and taking the most beautiful pictures and video of our wedding!

    If I could give Gabe 1000 stars I would. Highly recommend him if you want your wedding day captured perfectly. He was fun, professional and the video delivery was fast. So thankful we have a keepsake of our wedding day forever. He will come through with an amazing video regardless of the weather, hiccups on your wedding day or whatever comes his way. Definitely consider him for all your important moments in life!

    Gabe was fantastic. I cannot recommend him enough. I had an unconventional wedding, and he made it the experience of my dreams. The video I got back felt like a summer blockbuster, and the teaser trailer had me in tears. This was the one thing my husband insisted on, and I will never stop being glad that he was right. Worth every penny

    The best decision I made was booking Gabe to be our videographer. I had no idea where to even start by looking for one and actually came across his page a few times in a Facebook wedding group. The minute I saw his work I said yep I’m booking him. He responded quickly to my inquiry and booked right away. Gabe made the whole process extremely easy and stress free. He communicated with me through out the year leading up. He was on the ball. Well organized and very professional. He eased all my anxiety and knew all the important moments I wanted on video. If you’re on the fence about hiring a videographer, DO IT! Book with Gabe. I promise it is the best decision you could ever make. He got our final video to us very quick. It was STUNNING! Everyone loved it. I will admit I’ve watched it well over 100 times. Gabe you truly are the GOAT! Thank you again for capturing our day!
