We’re Emily & Dalton, a husband-and-wife photography team, & the hearts behind SCB (named after our 3 sweet kiddos — Sadie, Coleson, & Bryn). We love love, Jesus, & capturing the moments that matter most. Our style can range from light & airy to dark & moody, but our signature look is true-to-color, with just the right pop! We’re documentary-style storytellers who focus on authentic connection over stiff poses, guiding you with natural prompts so you feel comfortable, confident, & truly yourself in front of the camera. Our goal is for you to look back at your wedding photos & relive every laugh, tear, & joyful moment again & again.

Every package includes both of us (your built-in husband & wife team!), so you’ll always have full coverage and feel completely at ease. You’ll also get a complimentary engagement session—our chance to connect before the wedding and make things fun and comfortable from the start. No coordinator? No worries!     Emily is AMAZING!!!

    If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, Emily is the one! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. Leading up to our wedding, she answered every question I had, eased all of my worries, and made the entire process feel so stress-free. On our wedding day, she was absolutely incredible. She was kind, organized, calming, and truly invested in making our day special. Our venue had some really harsh lighting, but somehow she turned it into pure magic. The photos are absolutely stunning and have such a beautiful storytelling feel, which was exactly what we had hoped for. We just received our sneak peeks, and I am already obsessed! Every image brings me right back to those moments, and I cannot stop looking at them. I am beyond excited to see the rest of our gallery. We are so thankful we chose Emily to capture our wedding, and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

    Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Photography Team

    We had the best experience with SCB Photography for our engagement photos! From start to finish, she and her husband were incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with. They took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire session. You can truly tell how much care they put into their work. Our photos were edited beautifully, and they never rushed the process.     Engagement Shoot

    My fiance and I just had our engagement shoot with Emily and it was absolutely incredible! Emily was so nice and we were worried about feeling awkward during the shoot by she made us feel so natural and at ease. Emily went above and beyond with the shoot to make sure we got every shot we wanted. We just got our edited photos back and they are exactly what we were picturing when we envisioned what we wanted for our photos to look like. Now the only hard part is deciding which ones to hang up on our walls! I keep going back to our gallery just to look at them over and over again and I cannot wait to see what she does for our actual wedding!

    Obsessed with my pictures!

    I’m am forever grateful to have found Emily and Dalton at a wedding expo! They were so great to work with from start to finish! From reaching out for the first time to engagement pictures to our wedding day, they went above and beyond for us! We received our pictures back and they’re absolutely stunning, to say I’m obsessed is an understatement! Everything was perfect and we will relive our wedding day through our pictures for forever, they’re the most special momentum of our day!

    Brayerton Wedding

    Emily and Dalton were absolutely amazing to work with leading up to our wedding, the day of our wedding, and after our wedding! Our day did not exactly go smoothly due to other factors, and Emily did everything in her power to keep spirits up. She was absolutely amazing as a photographer and as a person! They both took absolutely amazing pictures and made it feel so natural and me and my husband are not huge picture people. It didn’t even feel like we were getting pictures taken, just having fun! My husband worked closely with Dalton and said him and the groomsman had an absolute blast working with him. (Extra plus because they got my husband to smile in pictures, which never happens!) I 100% recommend SCB Photography and would choose them every time to be our wedding photographers! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. They are all hand edited meticulously to ensure you get the best quality! All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. However, before we start the editing process, we do go through and delete the photos that are not up to our standards!
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my all of my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
My turnaround time varies by season. You will have a sneak peak within 48 hours which consists of 10-50 fully edited photos. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 8-12 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a gallery online that you can share with your family and friends!
I do ask each couple to send me their ideal editing style and shots, and will do my best to capture your day and edit them in the way you want, however due to weather and lighting it is not always guarenteed. We want to reassure you that we carefully choose an editing style that will create the most beautiful images of your big day!
