“If you’re looking for a beautiful, rustic and elegant venue. Then choose Sadie Lake Weddings. It’s reasonably priced and they choose to cherish that weddings are for love not for money. DeeDee and her husband are both very nice people and go above and beyond to celebrate your day. I chose Sadie Lake Weddings because I am the baby of 5. My eldest sister and her husband got married there 18 years ago when it was called something different and owned by the Browns. I had the most beautiful wedding. My husband hopes in 10 years that if they’re still around, we’ll have our vow renewal there. It’s kept clean and beautiful during spring, summer and fall. We’re from Kirkland and from all the places I looked at online, Sadie Lake Weddings in Arlington, WA was the one. I knew it as soon as I met DeeDee on the first and last venue we looked at. So if you’re interested in Sadie Lakes. Go for it. You won’t be disappointed and Congratulations!!!!”

“Stepping Stones Garden was the perfect venue for our wedding, and it holds an extra special place in our hearts. My husband’s siblings had all been married there under the previous owners, so it felt like a meaningful continuation of a beautiful family tradition. Since the new owners took over, they've made some truly stunning changes that have transformed the venue in the best way possible. The updates are thoughtful and well-designed, making the grounds even more breathtaking and the atmosphere even more magical than before. The getting-ready location was gorgeous—spacious, serene, and an ideal setting to relax before the big day. The venue itself was picture-perfect, with so many beautiful spots for photos, and the entire layout was flawless. What really stood out to me was the level of support from the staff. After not hosting weddings for a few years at Stepping Stones since the new owners took over, they were incredibly helpful in coordinating a meeting with our planner to review the layout of the space. They also worked directly with her to help with setup, which meant I didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply enjoy my day. There was a minor mix-up with the table arrangements—the paper I had received didn’t align with the website information—but once we clarified things, everything was sorted out smoothly. The staff handled it professionally, and the setup turned out perfectly in the end. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more supportive team to work with. The new owners have truly elevated Stepping Stones Garden, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning, serene, and well-managed wedding venue. It made our day unforgettable!”

“I've hosted two all day workshops at Oddfellow's Hall, and I will definitely use the space again. It's stunning, historic, right in town, and right over the water. Folks on Orcas tend to be low stress and easy to work with, and the Oddfellows Hall crew is no exception. It's a large space with an easy to plug into sound system and versatile lighting. There's ample street parking, and it's a 1-2 minute walk from the heart of Eastsound. There's a little used public dock and beach a 30 second walk down the road. There's also a commercial kitchen downstairs you can rent and use. I've had only wonderful experiences with this venue, as a two time renter and as a guest at many events!”

“Our wedding at Hotel Indigo Everett Waterfront was everything we hoped for. Emily and her team were attentive from day one, handling our last-minute requests and changes with ease while making sure every detail was perfect. Having the food, linens, and dishes all taken care of by one location made planning so much simpler, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy our day instead of stressing over logistics. We also appreciated how flexible they were—they even welcomed our three dogs in the ceremony, which meant the world to us. The space itself is clean and organized, with plenty of room for all our guests to feel comfortable. On top of everything else, Emily surprised us with a wedding gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Indigo Everett Waterfront to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making their day special.”

“From the moment we reached out to Pretty Bird Weddings and Events, Tamara was quick to respond and help us plan our special day. The venue itself is stunning, and we were blown away by how they handled the curveballs that came our way. When rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, they pivoted seamlessly to set up both the ceremony and reception inside their barn—and honestly, it turned out to be even better than we imagined. The intimate atmosphere created by moving inside felt perfect for us and our guests. Our day of coordinator Betsy (who is the recommended coordinator for the venue) was fantastic and truly made the day flow seamlessly in a way we never could have dreamed. We also booked the venue the night before so we had plenty of time to set up - which I highly recommend to anyone booking here. It made the day of so much less stressful and made the rehearsal dinner so cozy! We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we're so grateful to the Pretty Bird team for making our day absolutely perfect.”

“Fireseed was truly the venue of our dreams. Not only was it a beautiful setting, but we loved that the food was so delicious (and our guests loved it too!), that they ran the day of coordination, and that we had all weekend to set up/celebrate/clean up. But MOST OF ALL they could not have had better communication. I planned the whole wedding myself and always had my questions answered right away, often within a few hours of asking them. We felt taken care of from the first point of contact. It is such a special venue and we would recommend it to anyone!!!”

These venues showcase what makes the Pacific Northwest so special for couples looking to create memorable wedding experiences.

What Makes Washington Wedding Venues Uniquely Special?

The Evergreen State delivers venues that work with practically any wedding vision you might have. Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale gives you multiple garden spaces and a covered pavilion that handles Washington's unpredictable weather without sacrificing beauty. The 101 in Seattle lets you bring in your own preferred vendors in a spacious open environment while Sodo Park blends industrial-chic architecture with elegant sophistication. You'll find the perfect balance of practicality and atmosphere no matter what style speaks to you.

That's actually below the national average of $6,500-$12,000 or 25% of total costs so you're getting better value here than in many other states. Most couples pay between $5,800 on the lower end to around $7,000 for premium locations depending on what features and services you need. For different guest counts you can expect these approximate total wedding budgets: Small weddings with 50 guests run about $20,250 while 100-guest celebrations average $33,177. Medium-sized weddings with 150 guests typically cost $45,331 and 200-guest events reach approximately $56,197. Larger celebrations with 250 guests average $67,063 while truly big weddings with 300 guests generally cost around $77,929. These numbers help you plan realistically based on your guest list size.

The season you choose will dramatically impact both the look and logistics of your celebration.

How Can Washington Venues Balance Beauty with Practical Needs?

When selecting your Washington venue consider both its Instagram-worthy appeal and how it handles the nuts and bolts of your big day. Venues like Crystal Mountain Resort offer experienced on-site wedding teams while others may require more independent planning or outside coordination.
