About this venue
Welcome to Wisteria Gardens, a wedding venue located in Anacortes, Washington! Our venue sits on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds amidst several unique outbuildings. It is a private setting which makes your event all yours!

The Space
It is a private setting which makes your event all yours!
The 5,000 sf event barn is elegantly rustic with string lights and chandeliers. It holds the dressing room for the bride which was remodeled in 2020, indoor men's and women's restrooms, kitchen prep and cleanup areas, and a store room full of decorations accessible to you. We have a sound system with microphones as well. The silo structure is the perfect spot for beverage service and social gatherings with a propane fire pit nearby. Our log cabin was built from timber off the property and is the "man cave" for the groom and his groomsmen to hang out in before the ceremony. Additionally, there is a greenhouse turned into a children's playhouse to entertain even the smallest guests. And barnyard chickens and Scottish Highland cows that love having company.

We can accommodate up to 200 guests, have parking on site, and provide all the setup and breakdown of our tables and chairs, removal of garbage/recycling, and assistance with post-event clean up. Our goal is to allow you the opportunity to fully enjoy your day so we take care of some of the time-consuming labor. Find us just southeast of downtown Anacortes, two minutes off of Highway 20 heading toward Whidbey Island.

Amazing wedding venue!
Having our wedding at Wisteria Gardens was an amazing experience. All of our wants and expectations were met beyond what we could have asked for! We loved the rustic barn look, decorations to borrow, the cows, and photobooth option (and our guests loved it as well)! Heather was an incredible host and always responsive and accommodating to our questions and needs leading up to and at our wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience and Wisteria Gardens was a huge part of what made our day so special!

Incredible Venue
Wisteria Gardens was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, Heather and her team were caring, efficient, and incredibly warm in their communication. The venue itself is truly beautiful, with spacious gardens, a great layout, and a collection of decor that allowed us to create the perfect setting for our special day. They took care of all the table and chair setup for both our ceremony and dinner, making the planning process seamless. We were so impressed by the cleanliness of the venue and the impeccably maintained grounds and flower gardens. Heather is clearly passionate about providing a wonderful experience for her couples, and we would highly recommend Wisteria Gardens to anyone looking for a stunning and stress-free wedding venue.

Have your event here, you won't regret it!
My husband and I had a covid wedding so we decided to throw a big reception for our 5 year anniversary instead. I reached out to multiple venues throughout the Skagit Valley. Heather at Wisteria was the only one who provided me with different pricing options to really tailor it for our event. I visited the property and it was a dream-very secluded, quiet, options for in and outdoor, large enough for our party, and of course, the cows. Our guests had a great time feeding the cows and enjoying the yard games that Wisteria set up for us. The decor room is a huge bonus too-as someone who sourced my own decorations for the initial wedding, I was incredibly relieved to have options ready and available to me without extra work. Heather and Mike were phenomenal to work with. They communicated well, were flexible with our crazy schedules and requests, had the tables and chairs set up correctly and made tear down/clean up very easy. Truly cannot recommend enough!

Wisteria Gardens was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team there was incredibly resourceful, informative, and helpful in answering all of our questions and guiding us through the planning process. They were also proactive in setting reminders and checking in to make sure we were on track. The venue itself was stunning - the grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped, creating a wonderfully family-oriented atmosphere. We loved that they had a whole room full of decorations we could use to personalize the space exactly how we envisioned. On the day of, the venue was immaculate and everything ran so smoothly. We are so grateful to Wisteria Gardens for helping make our wedding day truly special.

Perfect Venue
This venue was everything we could've asked for. The gardens are beautiful and the outdoor cocktail hour is such a great addition to mix it up before going inside for the reception of our wedding. But the interiors are absolutely stunning: we loved the glass garage door, the industrial details, chandeliers and party lights, and clean look of inside. The venue also has a stock of decor and inventory that we primarily used for our wedding and it was a game changer is saving money on things we would only use for the day. Heather, was incredible. I felt like she was our co-coordinator. She was so kind and was always so quick to answer our endless questions whether about details regarding how the day would flow, sending past pictures for set up ideas, questions about what inventory they had etc. And having the tables and chairs set up/tear down included was such a huge benefit and time saver. The kindest people in the world, who truly made us feel like they cared that our day went amazing. We couldn't imagine having the best day ever anywhere else :)
