I was raised north of San Francisco in beautiful West Sonoma County. My wife and I moved back home after living in Oakland for a number of years, and are now raising our daughter in the home my wife grew up in - it's magical. I love finding new places to photograph in Sonoma County and beyond, and I love making new memories in the familiar places I know so well. Weddings make me giddy, and I can't get enough of that feeling. Besides photographing weddings and spending time with my family, I'm also a lecturer in photography at CSU East Bay. Teaching what I love is a true gift, and I'm grateful for this opportunity to share with my students.

My father handed me a camera when I was 7 years old and told me to shoot, everything, everywhere. I have had a camera in my hands ever since. After 8 years in Los Angeles I chose family over Hollywood. I wanted my kids to have the childhood experience I had – trees, dirt, animals and nature.
