Bustle & Twine

Bustle & Twine specializes in documentary wedding photography - telling the story of your day through all the beautiful details, unexpected surprises, and candid emotions as they unfold. We strive to capture every moment of your day while keeping a low profile. Our team is comprised of award-winning professional photojournalists and portrait photographers, and while we were founded in 2014, all of our founding members have been documenting weddings for over 10 years now.

We like to get to know you, your family and friends so that when we are capturing your big day we are capturing all those little moments that are extra important to you. We want you to enjoy your wedding day so when it comes to the photos we make it fun and we make sure to not have it take up your entire day - you spent a lot of time planning this day and we want you to be able to enjoy it and be a part of it! The review we strive for is when our couples say that they can't believe we captured a certain moment so beautifully without them even knowing we were there at that time.

Bustle & Twine was perfect for our magical, groovy 70s boho wedding. From the start, Lisa's warm, responsive, and compassionate communication style put us at ease. As a video producer, I have the highest standards, and Lisa exceeded my expectations with the quality of her work. She was so generous with her time and attention to detail. She captured first looks and wedding party pics beforehand and then true emotional "editorial" moments during the events- family members meeting for the first time, rifts being healed, and joy after loss. Lisa also helped co-create a seamless photo plan so each guest table could quickly get their pictures taken with us on their way to get their food. With our limited DIY budget, Lisa worked closely with us to make sure we got beautiful photos to remember our joyous day. Hiring Bustle & Twine was one of the best decisions we made - we now have incredible photos we get to enjoy for the rest of our lives. The wedding day goes by in a flash and now we can view the alternating photos as our TV's screensaver!

Lisa was amazing!! From the very first chat and through the wedding day, she was so easy to work with and was able to capturing the vibe we wanted for our photos. She blended in, and was able to capture so many special candid moments of not only us, but of our wedding guests as well. We were, of course, so eager to see the photos after the wedding. She had them edited and uploaded for our viewing so quickly. We were so happy with how they all turned out and we have loved being able to relive our special day and any of the moments we missed. We would definitely recommend Bustle and Twine!

We absolutely loved working with James and his team on our wedding day! They were so professional, kind, skilled, and made us feel at ease. We were not super comfortable in front of the camera so I was nervous how our photos would turn out, but they created such a relaxed environment, and our photos turned out so beautiful. Really quick editing turn around too, many photographers we scoped out would take 8-12 weeks to turn around all the photos. James and his team delivered nearly 1000 photos to us in just a few weeks. He also came to our rehearsal the night before (completely unprompted!) to scope out the venue ahead of time. Overall a phenomenal experience. I cant wait to work with Bustle and Twine again for family photos in the future. Thank you B&T!!!!

Bustle & Twine (Lisa) beautifully captured every moments and details of our wedding. We can truly feel every moment and relive through it every time we look at these pictures. We also received all of our beautiful pictures in a very organized fashion and timely.
