Bustle & Twine was perfect for our magical, groovy 70s boho wedding. From the start, Lisa's warm, responsive, and compassionate communication style put us at ease. As a video producer, I have the highest standards, and Lisa exceeded my expectations with the quality of her work. She was so generous with her time and attention to detail. She captured first looks and wedding party pics beforehand and then true emotional "editorial" moments during the events- family members meeting for the first time, rifts being healed, and joy after loss. Lisa also helped co-create a seamless photo plan so each guest table could quickly get their pictures taken with us on their way to get their food. With our limited DIY budget, Lisa worked closely with us to make sure we got beautiful photos to remember our joyous day. Hiring Bustle & Twine was one of the best decisions we made - we now have incredible photos we get to enjoy for the rest of our lives. The wedding day goes by in a flash and now we can view the alternating photos as our TV's screensaver!

Kate Kennedy Photography
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Sonoma, CA

  • Starts at $4,800

I'm an editorial wedding photographer based in Northern California, dedicated to capturing the authentic moments of your celebration. My approach is easygoing and positive, focusing on ensuring that the photos reflect your unique personalities and the true essence of your day. I believe the best photos are created through an amazing experience, so let's have fun together!

Working with Kate was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our engagement shoot to the wedding weekend itself, she went above and beyond for us every step of the way — including making time to photograph our welcome party on very short notice, which meant so much to us. Kate is incredibly talented and her work truly speaks for itself, but what makes her so special is the experience she creates behind the scenes. She always has a clear vision, executes everything flawlessly, and somehow makes the entire process feel effortless, comfortable, and genuinely fun. She brought such a calming and positive energy throughout the weekend and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. Cari was also absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the day. She brought such a fun, upbeat energy while still being incredibly organized and attentive to every detail. She made everyone feel comfortable, was great at gathering friends and family for photos, and captured so many candid moments that we’ll treasure forever. She was such a seamless complement to Kate and truly helped make the entire experience even better. We are so grateful to have had Kate capture such an important weekend in our lives and could not recommend her more highly. We already know we’ll be reaching out to her for any future photography milestones and special moments to come.

Alicia Parks is an award winning, published wedding photographer. She understands how significant your wedding day is and is dedicated to capturing every beautiful, authentic moment with exceptional professionalism and care. Her unparalleled passion for her work and attention to detail set her apart, ensuring that every image reflects the true essence of your love story. Alicia and her team ensure your experience is as flawless as your photos. She works from the heart, pouring love and dedication into every shot, to provide you with an unparalleled wedding photography experience.

Working alongside Alicia Parks Photography this summer was an absolute pleasure. Alicia is not only highly professional and prepared, but genuinely respectful to everyone involved in the event. That respect for fellow vendors is often overlooked, yet it plays a major role in how smoothly a wedding day unfolds. As a bride or client searching for vendors, this should honestly be a standard question to ask: How do you view and work with your peers? Most wedding professionals are meeting for the very first time on the wedding day, yet we’re expected to immediately function as a unified team. Alicia truly embodies this cooperative spirit. She approaches the day with collaboration and kindness, making communication seamless, transitions effortless, and the overall atmosphere calm and positive. That unity doesn’t stay behind the scenes—it carries through to the guests. Much like walking into a restaurant where the staff clearly enjoys working together, the experience simply feels better. I would gladly work with Alicia again and highly recommend her to couples who value not only beautiful photography, but a thoughtful, collaborative, and seamless wedding day experience.

Amy Little Photography

I'm Amy, chief picture taker, head editor, dubious web designer, and volunteer animal hugger at Amy Little Photography. Work is always fun because I'm never far from snacks and never close to snakes. Taking pretty pictures is easy. But documenting the honest, emotionally raw, and laugh-out-loud, because you didn't know that happened pictures is where I really shine. Photographing hundreds of weddings has deepened my joy of authentic storytelling. It's also been a catalyst for my cake addiction so I hope you're cool with being an enabler.

When I was looking at photographer portfolios, what I paid attention to most was how they captured candids. Could the joy, love, and excitement of the days shine through? Literally no one could compete with Amy Little there! She has an incredible talent for capturing the sweet moments that make a wedding special. Then I talked to her, and we instantly vibed. She even made my fiance lighten up and feel comfortable -- a herculean task! On top of that, she made us look and feel stunning. She taught us two awkward penguins how to model and let our true selves show on film. I still don't know how she did it! And on the day of, she not only was solving problems like a boss, she turned her creative eye into some jawdroppingly beautiful creative pictures in the rain. She's a genius, and I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out.

Welcome. I’ve been a make-up artist, chocolatier, a barista, a pet-sitter, a bartender but I’ve always been “that girl with the camera.” (I’ve also been, “that girl who sleeps on our couch” or “that girl who’s booty I saw in the newspaper” but I digress…). Currently, I base my photography business in Petaluma, CA. I grew up in Sonoma County but in my early 20’s I picked up and moved to Manitoba and that’s where I stayed for many years. Upon my return to CA in 2013 I turned my passion for photography into a career. It’s been a journey to call photography my profession, but I’ve always been a photographer and I’ve always been an artist.

My name's Meg and I'm an elopement & intimate wedding photographer based in Northern California. I specialize in unhurried, all-day and multi-day adventures throughout Sonoma County, Mendocino, Big Sur, Redwood National Park, and beyond. I help couples create an elopement experience they wouldn't change a thing about with a highly comprehensive planning framework, and deliver photos that they want to show off on every wall.

From our first phone call with Meg, we immediately knew she was the perfect fit for us. We were planning our elopement in California from New York so finding someone that we connected with and trusted without ever meeting was a big risk. But during our call Meg took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, and ever more so after our first call to truly find out what we wanted out of our special day. Along the way she was so helpful with sending suggestions of locations, fun things to do, and once we narrowed it down sent a timeline to keep us on track. The day of our elopement we never felt like she was a pushy photographer like traditional wedding photographers are. She let us enjoy our time together and have those special moments. We can’t recommend Meg enough if you’re looking for a micro wedding or an elopement photographer!

My love for photography sparked from a deeply personal place—watching my children grow up way too quickly and wanting to capture those fleeting moments before they slipped away. This journey turned into a passionate calling, and now, I look to bring a documentary and cinematic style to every session I have with my clients. As a quiet queer and a loud LGBTQIA+ advocate—everyone is welcome in front of my lens. My priority is creating a safe space for my clients where they feel they can express themselves freely so I can capture the uniqueness that makes them - them.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Aubrey Lorraine for our micro wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience or the photos. Aubrey was incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. She was so easy to work with and naturally made you comfortable through the whole shoot, making the process so much fun! Her talent behind the camera is undeniable. We've received so many compliments from friends and family on how stunning and thoughtful our photos are. She captured every moment with such artistry and attention to detail; she has a real gift. Aubrey also went above and beyond with her turnaround time. She provided sneak peeks within 48 hours (which we were so excited to share!) and delivered the full gallery much earlier than promised. We were blown away by how quickly she worked, and how many photos she provided. If you're looking for an incredibly skilled photographer who is a joy to be around on your special day, I can’t recommend Aubrey enough. She made our intimate ceremony feel just as special and beautifully documented as any big event. We’ll cherish these photos forever.

Welcome! We are Lauren and Jamie, a creatively driven photography duo deeply passionate about capturing the magic of your special day. We believe in celebrating all love and take pride in beautifully documenting your unique story. As down-to-earth artists, we are in this business purely for the genuine, unscripted moments that make your wedding day unforgettable. We love hearing about the incredible wedding plans our clients are dreaming up and turning those visions into lifelong memories.

In a covid wedding world, Lauren and Jamie showed up for us. From the start, they were eager to get to know us, understand our vision, and do everything they could (above and beyond) to help it come to life. We put together a ceremony on a cliff, sight unseen, but Lauren and Jamie scouted locations for us, talked us through logistics, and were exactly the people we needed with us to make this day happen. They are creative and adventurous, detail-oriented and responsive. Looking back, they were the piece that held everything together from planning to watching it all unfold in front of us. They were discreet during our intimate ceremony and we were able to just be ourselves and enjoy the day. They captured incredible moments and classic portraits that we will cherish forever. Our guests still talk about Lauren hopping on Jamie's shoulders to get an epic group shot on the cliffside. It is more than just earning a paycheck for these two, they are genuinely kind and talented people that you want with you on such a memorable day. Our best wedding decision was hiring Eichar Photography!

I am a Mother, Poet and never-ending dog trainer of my 3 spoiled fur babies. I grew up around photography, my grandfather was a photographer and this has always been something I loved to do. I love people and I have a ton of fun working at events. I am always excited to capture these moments for people and proud to share my results afterward. Photographing people and moments over the years is my true calling in life. Gives me great purpose and I really do enjoy it.

Have you ever met someone you just instantly clicked with? That was meeting Mrs. Opal Prince. From our very first conversation, Opal completely understood my vision--and more impressively, she worked with me through every indecisive moment and my very type B planning style. She never once made me feel underprepared or behind; instead, she offered thoughtful suggestions, filled in the blanks when I couldn't quite articulate something, and genuinely partnered with me every step of the way. We first worked with Opal for our engagement session, which I was admittedly nervous about--especially since my fiancé has a five-minute photo stamina at best. Not only did Opal make the experience comfortable and fun, but she even brought in her husband to help manage our wild dog so we could get a mix of shots with and without him. When I say our pup couldn't have been in better hands with someone we had just met-l mean it. The session was full of laughter, reassurance, and ease, even as our dog did his best to cause chaos. And the photos? They were turned around quickly and completely blew us away. I had several people text me photos of our Save the Dates, amazed by amazed by the stunning pictures Opal captured. Those engagement photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives--and then came the wedding... Opal and her partner, Wing, perfectly captured the energy of the day--Wing with my fiancé and his groomsmen, and Opal with me and my bridesmaids. You can truly feel the personality and emotion, which I fully attribute to the energy they bring. Their calming, friendly presence makes it feel like you're just hanging out with a friend--not posing for a camera. Our wedding day brought its fair share of last-minute weather pivots, and while Opal's role was officially a photographer, she effortlessly became so much more. I found myself turning to her again and again, and every time she was there--calmly helping, offering direction, keeping me on track. Though she was not our coordinator, she filled that role in such a natural way, and I am so grateful for her presence on that day. I can't imagine not having Opal or Wing with us for future milestones. They are the kind of photographers who make even the most camera-shy person feel confident and beautiful, offering clear guidance and capturing magic along the way Book Sweetbay Photography!!! You will NOT regret it!

I have been professionally capturing images for over 10 years. During that time, I built a successful promotional marketing company in Canada, received my MBA in Ireland, and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife. My favorite part about photography are the stories that are captured, the frozen moments in time that each picture highlights. Over the course of my career, I have been asked to tell thousands of stories. With the ability to operate in the United States, Canada, and Europe, I’m no stranger to traveling for a good story.
