I’m a wine country native and learned the photographic arts from my family. My early travels and studies in the art & humanities opened my horizons to culture and diversity, plus I'm of mixed ethnicity. I really enjoy photographing weddings, because it has influenced me in a variety of unexpected and good ways. Each wedding has their own uniqueness, personality, and beauty. My life experience in wedding, portrait, & event photography has been a very gratifying and fulfilling journey. I’ve been pro wedding photographer for over 15yrs, and I’m insured.

I was raised north of San Francisco in beautiful West Sonoma County. My wife and I moved back home after living in Oakland for a number of years, and are now raising our daughter in the home my wife grew up in - it's magical. I love finding new places to photograph in Sonoma County and beyond, and I love making new memories in the familiar places I know so well. Weddings make me giddy, and I can't get enough of that feeling. Besides photographing weddings and spending time with my family, I'm also a lecturer in photography at CSU East Bay. Teaching what I love is a true gift, and I'm grateful for this opportunity to share with my students.

My father handed me a camera when I was 7 years old and told me to shoot, everything, everywhere. I have had a camera in my hands ever since. After 8 years in Los Angeles I chose family over Hollywood. I wanted my kids to have the childhood experience I had – trees, dirt, animals and nature. Once back in Sonoma County, I had the great fortune of apprenticing with an award winning wedding photographer. After several years of the work, I was hooked! It’s an honor being with people on one of the most important days of their lives. To tell the story of it. To capture the beauty, the excitement, the drama of it all.

I started shooting photos and video in Greece, and since moving to the US, I have dedicated myself to shooting weddings, elopements and engagements. Driftwood Lodge is a 30-acre private estate on Highway 1 along the Sonoma Coast. We have on-site accommodations in our 5-bedroom main lodge, an activity barn, mini-farm, and acres of private trails and redwood forest to explore. We allow up to 15 guests overnight with 5BR/7BA, a fully stocked kitchen, large common area, 4 jacuzzi tubs, 4 saunas, 6 classic Malm fireplaces and an outdoor hot tub. The 1.5-acre meadow overlooking the ocean is the perfect place for your cocktail hour and ceremony. The large barn opens wide for an indoor/outdoor space for dinner and dancing. You and your guests can enjoy walking through some of the oldest Redwood forests in California down to our creek, lay in the hammock in the meadow or travel just beyond the lodge to a winery, a historic fort, ocean trails, fishing adventures or a round of golf.
