There is also an inside ceremony option, in our ballroom. Cocktail hour is enjoyed in the “home” part of the Manor with access to the wrap around porch and courtyard area with fire pit. The Manor provides two areas for a spectacular reception - an elegant setting with windows on several sides of the main ballroom to accommodate up to 150 guests or a tented reception on our lush landscaped grounds accommodating up to 250 guests. You may arrive four hours before your ceremony and get ready in our spacious bridal party suites. Hosting only one wedding a day, we pay special care and attention to every detail, making the wedding planning process stress-free and the event flawless for you and your guests.

“Blenheim is a beautiful property and the perfect location for a Catskills wedding. Min and Morton are accommodating owners who made sure all of our needs were considered and facilitated. If you want to have an upscale barn wedding that is a highly memorable affair this is absolutely the venue for you! The food is amazing, the staff is on top of everything (shoutout to Rosie!), and the setting is gorgeous. We had multiple wedding events (welcome party, wedding, after party and farewell brunch) and every one was amazing!”

We got married at Black Walnut Farm in the fall of 2024. It was the first venue we visited, and we knew it was "the one" the moment we stepped out of the car—even before seeing the full extent of the work that has since gone into it. Owners Sarah and Jim have created something truly special; you can feel the heart and soul they’ve poured into the property while beautifully maintaining its historical integrity and charm. Getting to witness the venue’s progression in the months leading up to our wedding made us appreciate the sheer passion and hard work they pour into every detail. Sarah and Jim's support made all the difference. Because of the diligence they showed throughout our planning process, we felt entirely at ease when the big day finally arrived. We knew we were in excellent hands. If you’re on the fence about the full weekend package: do it. Beyond allowing us to feel completely at home, it gave us the space to host welcome drinks on the grounds as a “sneak peek” for our guests, while keeping the ceremony site and the barn under wraps for a big reveal the next day. The day after our wedding, we had the whole place to ourselves when our loved ones left and we wandered the enchanting grounds with our dog, basking in the warmth of all the love and joy we felt. “We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. “We cancelled our big wedding due to covid and we were planning to just show up at a local lake and have our wedding ceremony... that is until we saw Rokeby! Marina was very responsive and walked us around the property, which is absolutely exquisite. The grounds have several perfect ceremony locations (in front of the garden, mountain view, on the porch, in front of a very old beautiful tree) and Marina had the ceremony space set up exactly how we had asked. The experience was seamless and our guests continue to talk about how wonderful the estate is. Highly, highly recommend!”
