Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. I had an enjoyable experience planning our wedding thanks to the support from the Secret Garden and Epic team! To conclude, my wedding day at the Secret Garden was literally the happiest day of our lives! It couldn't have been more perfect. If you're envisioning a fairytale garden wedding like I was, choose this venue!

Although our wedding hasn’t happened yet, we couldn’t wait to share how thrilled we’ve been with our experience so far with The Headquarters! From the very beginning, the team has been phenomenal, Taylor and Janae’s professionalism and communication has made the entire process smooth and stress-free thus far. A special shoutout to Taylor, who played a huge role in helping us feel confident about booking a venue still under renovation. Her years of experience with Wedgewood and new venue openings reassured us that their blueprints and mock-ups are always spot-on with the final product—and it’s easy to see that this space is going to be stunning. We were specifically looking for a venue that felt unique and special, something fresh that none of our friends or family had used before. Choosing The Headquarters was a leap of faith, but the team’s attention to detail and their ability to keep us in the loop has us beyond excited for our big day. • Multiple event spaces
  • Dressing room available
  • Provides lighting and sound

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No all-inclusive dining options
  • Does not allow pets
This is the perfect reception venue. Nicola the event coordinator immediately called me after I submitted an inquiry and from then on her communication was amazing. The museum went out of their way (to include leaving up pieces of art that they knew we loved for our reception) to make our day so special. You need very minimum decorations because the art truly shines and the space is beautiful. The building is modern, which allowed for our own creativity like projecting large images on the outside, facing the street. Our guests raved about it and when not dancing or enjoying food were able to wander the galleries and even purchase some art! I was able to create a special space for kids to get creative as well. Of all the venues we toured the museum gave us the most flexibility and options and we’re very gracious about what vendors we could use allowing us to have a truly custom event that represented our lives and relationship. I am so thankful for the staff at OMA for making our experience so exceptional! Not only will you have a unique venue, but your money is going to support the arts and the local community of Oceanside!

We had our wedding end of June, so the flower fields flowers were not in bloom, but the grounds still had a lot of other flowers and greenery that made the setting truly lovely. The Carlsbad Windmill is a beautiful venue and I loved having it as an all in one package. It made wedding planning so easy while still being customizable in many ways. We had an amazing day and everything went smoothly. As a bride, I did not have to worry about much. My only caution is that they can change the food options at their discretion so the food that is there when you book with them may have slight changes when you get to closer to your actual wedding date. This was not a big deal for us but they did change the filet mignon option to a sirloin. Other than that, every one we worked with there are kind and helpful. They are quick to answer any questions you have throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to plan a wedding in the area. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all on the same property/building which makes a very easy transition for the guests from place to place. Many beautiful options for photos on site as well along with the beach and flower fields close by.

The bridal suite was also spacious with lots of mirrors and outlets. We used the venue for both ceremony and reception. It was an easy transition going from one to the next. We worked with Shelly, the venue coordinator, and she was fabulous! Great communication from when we toured, booked, and up to our big day. The value for what we got was amazing as well! We did their all inclusive package and were happy with the price for all that we got: tables & chairs, bridal suite, catering, open bar, and DJ. Honestly, so great if you're on a budget or have a bigger budget and want to spend more on something like decor or florals. Highly recommend!!

The reception hall was GORGEOUS, I loved how everything was set up, she did everything and more to help ease the stress of my wedding day! I couldn't have done this without her, Codie, I'll forever be grateful for all of your help and pure kindness. The food service was also great, we received many compliments on the cocktail hour foods and dinner service! All of the staff there were incredibly kind and nice, the bartenders, staff, chefs, bus boys, everyone was amazing. Victoria Ranch is the perfect place for a local destination wedding. Victoria Ranch embodies the spirit of the coastal mountains it was built upon. On a clear day, stunning views of rolling chaparral give way to the sparkling crystal blues of the Pacific Ocean. The gentle and magnificent presence of Mother Nature surrounds this home that love built.

Why you'll love this venue

  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Feels like a getaway
  • Unique barn setting

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you don't want a rustic vibe
  • No built-in audiovisual options

As a wedding planner, I often come across venues and vendors that do not offer full service packages but at the Victoria Ranch, you are getting that and much more. The venue itself is so intimate and super cute, but also offers the flexibility to style it in a different way if you prefer. Also, having the option to add catering by chef, Joanne was amazing as well as her coordinating all rentals for the property too.

Allow yourself to be transported back to 1891 with the ultimate storybook setting for your special day. Lush gardens, twinkling rose arbors, tranquil waterfalls, and romantic statuary surround a historic estate nestled among the towering trees of a private, intimate forest. A restored Grand Parlor offers the perfect quarters for your bridal party to prepare for the special day and capture memories among classic turn-of-the-century furnishings and artistry. Our traditional Gentlemen’s Clubhouse provides a separate vintage setting for relaxation, celebration, and those final man-to-man words of wisdom. Dine and dance the night away with your guests in a grand tented pavilion adorned with elegant peaks of chiffon, glimmering crystal chandeliers, and your own customized arrangements and décor.

We had a wonderful experience planning with Trademark Venues for our Twin Oaks wedding. The grounds are insanely beautiful, and our guests were so complimentary of the venue, food, and staff! Morgan, our event planner, helped us with so much - including several choices with decor or spirits for our specific guest count, recommendations for local vendors, support with personalizing our timeline so we could prioritize the parts of the day that were important to us, and much more. She was instrumental in bringing our vision to life and keeping things on track on wedding day itself. We absolutely recommend the convenience of choosing a semi-inclusive venue like Twin Oaks and any of the Trademark locations where they provide much of the decor, rentals, and staffing for the ease it gives the couple! The Trademark staff was nothing short of extraordinary to us during wedding planning and we would choose them and this venue again 100 times over!

We want to give a special shout out to Angela who was our lead coordinator and took care of us during the rehearsal and wedding day. She was amazing and was able to give direction to our 16 group wedding party. We can't thank Angela enough for making our day incredible. We also want to thank our captains DJ and Sierra and all our servers who constantly checked in with us and made sure the reception went amazing. And of course our bartenders Julio and Rachel and chef Austin for making sure our 116 guests were satisfied with drinks and food. The most beautiful wedding venue a bride could ask for. I fell in love with this venue immediately!! It’s such a whimsical, dainty and floral venue, absolutely stunning, and all my guests were in awe! What sold me was what was included when you reserved the venue: catering, food, bartending, and most importantly a wedding planner). It made everything so easy for planning!

Ethereal Gardens by Trademark Venues

4.2

Escondido, CA
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $15,950

Set on 40 acres of edible gardens, surrounded by old growth orchards and 100 acres of organic herb and vegetable farms… An “out of the box” venue that is completely private and not just another golf course, winery, banquet hall or hotel. Here we are open to creative ideas and outside vendors such as florists, photographers, photo booths, food trucks and so much more.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • On-site parking not available
Ethereal gardens is a gorgeous venue and my wedding was stunning. That said, there are several things that Ethereal Gardens/Trademark Venues needs to improve on. 1- The contract includes additional costs (service fees, bar, additional guests, decor, etc) It becomes overwhelming and confusing to understand exactly how much your final cost will be. It needs to be better organized. 2- The invoice is the only location where you can see your cost breakdown, and they do not date any changes to the invoice. So one day your total cost is X, the next day it’s Y, and you have no idea what was added to the invoice. There is no record of changes. This is not a best practice for running a business and caused us extra stress. 3- The contract states that you cannot have a coordinator or a wedding planner because Trademark IS the wedding planner. This was frustrating because I did everything that a wedding planner should have done (creating the floor plan and seating chart, coordinating meetings, timeline, selecting/communicating with vendors…). Would have been nice to be able to have a planner to do those things like we were promised. 4- My planner tried to start my ceremony early, almost 20 minutes early! Even though most of my family wasn’t there yet! Luckily I said no and it went on as planned but that shouldn’t have even been suggested. 5- The security guards were VERY rude to guests who showed up late. 6- The venue set up my guest book upside down so the signatures are at the back of the book, welcome table was messy, and my gorgeous seating chart was set against an ugly brown wall so all photos of it are ruined. 7- Two full rows at the front during the ceremony were empty because people didn’t know they could sit there. This ruined certain photos because it’s very empty looking. 8- Getting-ready rooms are available at 11:30am (bride) and 2:30pm (groom) regardless of when your wedding starts. The venue does not accommodate based on your specific wedding timeline- unless you pay 1500 which only gets you an extra hour in the rooms. Wish we would have known that up front. Caused more stress and confusion. 9- A security guard snapped his fingers at one of my guests to tell them to leave when he was just waiting for his girlfriend to get out of the bathroom. And the staff started taking tables apart as our wedding was still going on! This led to one of our guests losing a jacket that was on the back of a chair someone took away. Summary: Wedding was beautiful, food was great, venue was gorgeous. However Ethereal Garden’s processes are messy and very greedy/money focused, and some their staff is rude and made guests uncomfortable.

Venue considerations

Lomas Santa Fe Country Club made the whole wedding planning experience easy so my now husband and I could focus on the day. From handling the amazing food to coordinating the table florals, the team at Lomas works really hard to give you a perfect day. Some highlights from ours: (1) The food. The chef is phenomenal and very flexible when it came to our diet restrictive guests. Everything we tried was amazing and I got rave reviews from my guests that there was more than enough delicious food throughout the event. Also, all the stars for our “getting ready” brunch spread with fun carved fruit included. (2) The staff. From Caryn and Chelsi to the whole bar/wait staff day off, everyone was so kind and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They really made our event feel even more special. Shout out to our waitress who ended up finding us before her shift was over to give big hugs and wish us well. (3) Location and facility. Both my husband and I are from San Diego and knew we wanted to be more central for our North County and Downtown friends and this was the perfect spot. Our golden hour pictures with the ocean in the background and shots in front of the iconic Lomas window were beautiful. Additionally, both getting ready spaces were private, large, and (for the bride) had a large area to do makeup and hair. The actual event space required very little decoration too since the ceremony space is on the golf course with the ocean in the distance and an arch is included in your package. Also, the reception space is just beautiful on its own with the huge fireplace, wood beam ceilings and chandeliers. Overall, my wedding planning experience was very seamless due in large part to the great group at Lomas.

Our wedding was a dream and there is nothing we would have done differently. The venue, decor, and atmosphere provided by the Wedgewood team felt perfect and personal. We are especially thankful to our coordinator Katey, who made us feel welcome and taken care of. She truly went above and beyond for us and we couldn't have imagined a better person to be our coordinator. Our banquet captain, Christina, was lovely and it meant a lot that she constantly came to check on us throughout the night and made sure we had everything we needed. We also want to thank Andrea, our DJ, who helped us modify our timeline on the fly when we were running a bit late and was right on point with our music. One of the most special moments was our private dance at the very end of the night. Andrea played our song and then both she and the Wedgewood staff turned away and let us have the moment completely to ourselves. It was a moment I will never forget and I'm so thankful that we stumbled across Canopy Grove and decided to tour the venue (in fact, it was the only wedding venue we toured because we knew right away). We are eternally grateful and Canopy Grove will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you!
