We had a destination wedding at La Jolla Cove Rooftop, and we couldnβt have asked for a better experience! Since we were planning our wedding from out of town, we really appreciated that all of our meetings could be done remotely. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and understanding throughout the entire planning process. One of the things that helped us the most was that La Jolla Cove Rooftop provides all of the vendors. In our situation, this made everything so much easier and less stressful because we didnβt have to coordinate with multiple outside vendors from afar. Everyone we worked with was professional, friendly, easy to communicate with, and truly cared about making our wedding special. The final results were beautiful, and everything came together wonderfully. On the day of our wedding, the wedding coordinators took such great care of us and our guests. They made sure everything ran smoothly and allowed us to relax and enjoy our special day without worrying about the details. We are so grateful to the entire La Jolla Cove Rooftop team for helping make our destination wedding such a beautiful and memorable experience.

Phenomenal!!
Gosh we love them. They were life changing! Our initial tour with Corina was so phenomenal and she sold us immediately. All of our planning meetings throughout the process were well organized and prepared and we always felt heard and supported. Our day of coordinator, Robert, was absolutely incredible!! He was so calm and cool before the ceremony and then helped us amp it up to an insanely fun celebration afterwards. Canβt say enough good about him. Even our friends and family were saying amazing things about him throughout the night and the days to follow. DJ maestro (the included DJ package) assigned us the best DJ ever (DJ Gerald) and he created such a fun atmosphere for the dance floor. He also crushed it with balancing MCβing and nailing all the cues. Esteban was our late night banquet captain and he was so amazing, really attentive and kind. Moments in Bloom KILLED IT and gave us the florals of our dreams as well. Overall, we genuinely cannot even express how happy we were with our wedding day and night and the entire process leading up to it and that is all thanks to Wedgewood.

A beautiful stress minimal wedding
From day one, the team at La Jolla Cove Rooftop made planning our wedding feel exciting instead of stressful. Jenna, our coordinator, and the whole planning team, answered every question we had and helped ease my anxiety throughout the whole processβshe really understood our vision and made sure everything came together perfectly. The venue itself is stunning with those incredible views, but what impressed us most was how the team sweated the details. They connected us with vendors for the cake, flowers, and photography, and everything looked cohesive and beautiful on our big day. The whole experience felt streamlined and organized without losing that personal touch. We got an incredible event at a fair price for the area, and we honestly can't imagine having done it anywhere else.

A Literal Dream Day β The Best Decision We Made!
We truly do not have enough words to describe how perfect our wedding was at La Jolla Cove Rooftop. We chose this venue for two reasons: the breathtaking ocean views and Elizabeth. From our very first meeting, Elizabeth understood our vision perfectly. Elizabeth and her team were always just a text or call away, making the entire planning process stress-free. On the day of, the Wedgewood Events team was a well-oiled machine. Elizabeth was so organized, keeping in constant contact with our wedding party so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how helpful and professional the waitstaff and service were. Huge thanks to Rhys (DJ) for keeping the energy up, Kevin for the incredible saxophone performance, and Moments in Bloom and Nicole Love for the stunning florals. It exceeded every dream I ever hadβI wish we could do it all over again.

Rainy NYE Wedding Still Gorgeous/Perfect
La Jolla Cove Rooftop is a gorgeous venue with some of the best views in San Diego, but the photos can show you that. What isnβt immediately known, but becomes obvious, is how great of a venue it is because of the people who work there. My husband and I booked our wedding at La Jolla Cove Rooftop over two years in advance from our wedding day. We spent that time fully customizing our day, including DIYing most of our decor. We were able to access the venue at any time we wanted, whether to check measurements or show it off to family visiting from out of town. They took care of all the bigger vendors (bakery, florist, DJ) so we could focus on the details that mattered to us. Even then, their hand selected vendors were fully customizable to us and brought our vision to life. Bree was the coordinator we met with throughout the process, and she was always so warm and so enthusiastic about our vision. She had many couples of her own, but when we showed up for rehearsal day, Bree still remembered us, gave us a big hug and was ecstatic about our day. Robert was our coordinator for the last meeting, rehearsal and wedding day. We couldnβt have had such a beautiful day without him. Immediately, Robert understood who we were as a couple and was extremely keyed in to all the little things we had worked on the last 2 years. We felt extremely comfortable putting our vision in his hands, and he became a very trusted partner quickly. When it became clear that we would have to move to a rain contingency plan, changing the vision of our wedding day we had for years, Robert was available to us to answer questions, quickly come up with a plan and comfort us through the anxiety of changing everything at the last minute. On wedding day, when the rain got the best of me, Robert was the one to give me a hug and let me process my emotions before our ceremony. The day was absolutely perfect thanks to Robert and team. All of our guests have told us what a great experience they had, and that they even liked being under the pavilion all together more because it gave the wedding an intimate feel. Even with the quick changes, all the important details were included and executed well. Our parents felt cared for by Robert during the whole process as well, he went out of his way to ensure their needs were attended to and they felt important. When Robert left for the night, Esteban and the rest of the team stepped in to take great care of us. Esteban even kindly helped me put my (very rain soaked) dress into a trash bag once the dance floor started so I could change into something more comfortable. At the end of the night, they had no problem kicking out our guests so we could have a private last dance. Shout out to everyone at La Jolla Cove Rooftop for making our wedding day exceptional, even with the weather throwing a wrench into the plans. We will never forget the kindness, warmth and love shown to us on the most important day of our lives.
