Our guests LOVED him they are still talking about how awesome our DJ was. For months, we jumped on calls to perfect the experience we wanted and Alex was so incredibly supportive the entire time. A week before our wedding we had to change our wedding and he was one of the first people we called. Within minutes he had lists of places to call. When we figured out a new venue he did everything he could to become familiar with the new space and the owner. We arrived to the reception with our vendors all knowing eachother like they were friends all along - it was so unified like one family coming together. “Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. I chose to have live piano and violin at my ceremony and they sounded beautiful together. They played every song I requested with depth and precision- even the fairly new music (I requested Birds of a Feather for the recessional, and they NAILED it!) They provided mics to the musicians and the officiant stand, which ended up being a lifesaver for us. The DJ and violinist were both fun and talented, keeping the dance floor packed all night long. DJ Servaun in particular did an amazing job matching the vibes, emceeing, and balancing in the moment song requests with a killer playlist. Get the DJ with Musician accompaniment package!! The electric violin player lit up the dance floor & guests LOVED it! Quote: “Best wedding I’ve ever been to! I’ve never been to a wedding where ‘Not Like Us’ got a violin accompaniment”. “We cannot recommend Said highly enough! He is incredibly professional and responsive to all our questions. It was clear from the start that he knew exactly what he was doing. Said took the time to ask all the right questions to truly understand the specific vibe and music we wanted for our wedding. He managed guest requests well (we didn't want everything to be played, and he did a fantastic job filtering through them so we only heard the music we actually liked). “DJ Haze was THE perfect choice for our wedding day. From the very beginning, his communication style was detailed, VERY considerate, and he always put OUR wants and needs first. He was incredibly inclusive in making sure my Mexican side of the family got their Mexican music included lol I was so happy he did that without us asking for it, it made me so happy. The quality of his work was truly professional, fun, and lighthearted, creating a wholesome atmosphere that all our guests enjoyed. He’s a huge jokester so a lot of laughs were had when he’d speak on the mic. He went above and beyond, always checking in with US before doing anything to ensure it aligned with our vision. He was especially thoughtful, noting that our son has noise sensory issues due to autism, and immediately lowered the volume to a comfortable level to where my son was happy and all of the guests still danced their hearts out. He also recognized that I was experiencing foot pain and graciously allowed me to take breaks to sit down. When it came time for the father-daughter dance, he perfectly faded the music to accommodate my father's history of foot cancer knowing he needed to rest. DJ Haze was literally the best DJ we could have imagined for our wedding day, and we are so grateful for his exceptional service. I’d recommend him to anyone! “Soundwave DJs know how to make the party happen!! I am not usually one to dance at a wedding, but I never left that dance floor! Brian was incredible. I was pretty specific (like creating playlists of the songs I wanted played) and he was all over it! He was supportive and followed everything we wanted with grace and excellence! Originally we spoke to a few DJs who all told us that we shouldn’t make playlists and it should depend on the crowd, which we just aren’t that couple. We wanted certain music played because we knew our guests and what would keep them on the dance floor. When we shared our past interview experiences with Brian, he said, “I don’t roll that way. It’s about you.” He made us feel so validated and comfortable and excited for the day! He was great about communicating with us on the day and making sure that what we wanted happened! He had people packed on the dance floor until the very last minute. He was jamming out with us as he was DJing.
