“Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. You spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographers, it's really important to feel comfortable with them, and we certainly did. They brought both a fun, but calming energy, easing our pre-wedding jitters before the ceremony, and leaning into the excitement as the night went on. Our philosophy for photographing weddings is based on the belief that the most important part of our job is telling your story as beautifully as the story itself. Everything else is secondary. With hundreds of weddings under our belts, my team and I have been a part of weddings of all colors, sizes, and locations. Our destination weddings have taken them to some incredible locations, including Hawaii, Korea, and Aruba.

“We booked Hanel for both our engagement shoot and wedding. We cannot say anymore great things about him. His email responses were timely, thorough and it was incredibly easy to set up time to meet with him to discuss his and our visions. My husband and I are not camera people in the slightest, and often make silly faces in order to balance our awkwardness. However, Hanel and his assistant made us feel at ease during both shoots, and gave easy directions for us to follow throughout that ultimately made us feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. They were so welcoming/friendly, and we felt like we were just hanging out with our friends for the day. Hanel was able to handle the chaos that were my family and friends on the wedding day, and easily navigated all the different groupings for photos the day of with immense ease. He kept to our wedding timeline without making us feel rushed. Our photos were sent back to us quickly after a month, and they were absolutely gorgeous.
