“Todd did an amazing job at our wedding! We were looking for an acoustic guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour and his sound was perfect. He is incredibly easy going and I felt perfectly safe leaving the cocktail hour set list in his hands. He understood the vibe we were going for and just ran with it. “DJ Charlie was calm and honest throughout the process. He was very clear about what he needed in terms of music line up based on our timeline of events. He gave us suggestions based on his experiences with other weddings and was flexible. The planning was a bit rocky because the timelines needed to line up. Which ours did not. So please be careful and make sure that your wedding timeline and the DJ’s contract timeline match. Since ours didn’t match up and there weren’t any events that could have been edited out, we had to pay for an extra hour. The extra hour was worth it because we were able to fit everything we wanted to do at our wedding. DJ Charlie was able to keep us on time throughout the wedding from ceremony to the end of the reception. He gave the bridal party special queue instructions to keep in time with the ceremony music. Though it would have been nice to have music playing in the ballroom and the reception tent while dinner was happening. The music selection had a good mix of what we asked for. Though the specific songs that we wanted for the party dance weren’t played. At the end of the night, it didn’t matter as it was a four-hour event and a good portion of the guests had to leave early. He was considerate of the people on the dance floor and even played rumba songs for my great aunt and uncle who were dancing a rumba number. The lighting set up was great. The pin lights were placed in the right areas in the ballroom and reception tent, and it really livened the place up. There were also moving ceiling projection lights, which really made up for the wall projection that we didn’t have time to set up. Overall, we would recommend DJ Charlie for any special event.”

The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs!
