That began the year-long journey to build the venue that they envisioned. Opening in the middle of a pandemic was a setback but Hidden Pines has survived and is ready to host weddings, proms, baby showers, and more! We wanted to have a venue that allowed our clientele to enjoy the hundreds of acreage surrounding the venue. If you come during the right time of the year, you might even see muscadine grapes on the vines. The Cabins are brand new, but are created around a refined rustic theme. The Wells Lamont Glove Factory was built in 1951, providing new industrial opportunities for the people of Mount Vernon. Since then, it has served as a manufacturing space for several other businesses. In 2020, the Copeland Family purchased the vacant property with a goal of reviving the excitement the building had brought to the town in the fifties. Our family moved to Mount Vernon in 2009.
