About this venue

The Wells Lamont Glove Factory was built in 1951, providing new industrial opportunities for the people of Mount Vernon. Since then, it has served as a manufacturing space for several other businesses. In 2020, the Copeland Family purchased the vacant property with a goal of reviving the excitement the building had brought to the town in the fifties. Our family moved to Mount Vernon in 2009. Ever since, we have worked hard to add something special to our unique little town. The Glove Factory was reimagined with each couple in mind to create a breathtaking space for your special day. We would be honored to play a part in your happily ever after!

The Glove Factory

The Glove Factory is a historical icon transformed into a breathtaking, industrial venue for all your most important celebrations!

• 14 hour day of use, 1 hour rehearsal allotment, and 1 hour bridal/engagement photo opportunity • Exclusive access to the 13,000 sq. ft. industrial venue • Unique indoor and outdoor spaces for the ceremony and reception • Guest tables and chairs set up to your specific event • Glove Factory team member available the day of your event • Stunning bridal suite including a private bathroom • Spectacular groom's room including a lounge area • Use of our 2,000 sq. ft. covered patio with bistro lighting • Catering kitchen including commercial fridge, freezer, food warmer, ice machine, ample prep area, and private entrance • 300 mahogany folding chairs with padded cushion • 16 sixteen foot beautiful custom built, solid wood, rectangular farm style tables, 10 cocktail tables, and a variety of additional tables • Hundreds of decor items and linens • Portable bar includes wine fridge and sink • 5 vintage sofas • 12 astonishing 110 year old, solid oak curved pews

The maximum seating capacity is 500. The Glove Factory will provide seating to accommodate 300 guests.
The Glove Factory will have a staff member onsite the day of your event.
The Glove Factory has decor available for you to use the day of your event! This includes table decor, floral items, an arch, and many unique furniture pieces.
The Glove Factory will allow a one hour rehearsal the week before your event.
There is a $1000 security deposit due 14 days before your event.
To secure your desired date, a nonrefundable 33% of the event total is due when you sign the contract. Another nonrefundable 33% is due 6 months before your event. The final non refundable payment is due 90 days before your event. The Glove Factory only accepts cash and checks.
You have exclusive access to The Glove Factory for 14 hours on the day of your event. The last hour is designated for cleanup. Additional hours are available upon request at an hourly rate of $200.
The Glove Factory requires the host to provide alcohol. Guests are not allowed to bring their own. You are responsible for hiring a bartender, if spirits are provided. A no host liquor liability insurance must be in place. If alcohol is on the premises, security is required.
There are designated outside smoking areas for guests. However, we are a non-smoking facility inside, including e-cigs. All cigarette butts must be disposed of in a trash can or your security deposit could be affected.
Set up and take down of tables and chairs is included in the venue fee. All items brought by you, your vendors, and your guests must be removed by the end of the rental period. Trash must be disposed of in the provided trash cans and hauled to the dumpster. If additional cleaning is required, your security deposit could be affected.
Your security deposit will be returned within 14 days after your event once we have thoroughly inspected the property and venue for damages.
