With half of our family being Latino, it took some time to find the right fit in the area. We wanted a good mix where the entire room could have fun and feel included. Ben absolutely nailed it day of. We’ve heard from multiple guests how they’ve never seen a wedding dance floor full for the whole wedding like at ours and how there was music for everyone. Aside from that, Summit invested time in us before the wedding through multiple planning calls and their awesome app where we can slowly build out our event with preferences. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Our original DJ had a family emergency and I reached out to Jeremy one week before our wedding. He was somehow available which was the greatest miracle of our wedding. We were so stressed and he immediately calmed us down and ended the call with "let's have a wedding!" Given the timing, we didn't have time for another call before the day. He had a comprehensive questionnaire that covered every situation we wanted a specific song for (including our cake cutting song) so another call was not needed and he did everything perfectly. He is extremely adaptable and stepped in so many times without needing to be asked (helping corral people for pictures). He followed every song we wanted (and didn't want), but also was able to nail the vibe when given vague directions (chill love songs during our cocktail hour). The best part was when we opened up the dance floor, my Fitbit logged me as doing "sport" for 2 hours straight at one point and I did over 10,000 steps just from dancing. He kept people dancing and people loved it, my wife and I both had multiple people tell us our wedding was the one of the best they had been to BECAUSE of the DJ. My favorite part was he genuinely loves what he does, you could see the joy on his face when he made a great transition between songs and that energy was infectious. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely organized, professional, and fun. Jeremy, thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!”

QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

“We received lots of compliments about our wedding, but our DJ was hands down the most complimented part. Like by a lot. I remember someone said “Lily. Your DJ is 100 out of 10.” and our venue coordinator (who has seen a lot of weddings) was like “Seriously, where did you find this guy?” and said they need to add him to their list of recommended DJs. I also had multiple guests ask if he was single… From the ceremony music and microphones, to the cocktail hour musical ambiance, to the first dance and speeches, Obehi was locked in and working the room to make sure everything went smoothly and ensure everyone was having a great time. He had all kinds of fancy equipment and was there early with bells on to get it all set up. It was all seamless with zero hiccups. He was out on the dance floor hyping people up, dancing, and just giving 110% all night long. Obehi is one heck of a DJ. I saw family members who I haven’t seen crack a smile in a decade busting moves on the dance floor. Obehi gets the people going. There’s no doubt about that. That being said, he’s also a really lovely human and we loved having him there as a part of our wedding. You can tell he loves what he does and loves people. He was genuine, warm, and kind every step of the way. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding and made us feel like it was his life’s purpose to get every detail perfect for us. And he delivered 1000%. Best choice we made for our wedding. Worth every single penny!!!”

“We absolutely loved working with Carol and Joey. They are an amazing husband and wife wedding team. We hired them just a month before our wedding when we realized we needed an MC, and we ended up adding Carol for day-of coordinating too. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Carol met with Haley (the bride) multiple times a week leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was covered. She has such a positive, calming spirit, and she brought a sense of relief even before the big day. That alone was priceless. She also took the time to really get to know our families and friends, which helped everything run so naturally and smoothly. On the wedding day, we had two pretty major and time-sensitive vendor shortfalls, and Carol handled both effortlessly. She kept everything under control without involving the bride and groom and was incredible at delegating tasks to the right people to make sure everything got done. She showed up fully prepared, emergency kit and all, and saved the day more than once. Joey did an amazing job keeping the party going. He brought awesome lighting for the dance floor, and he even set up lights in dimly lit areas so guests wouldn’t trip or fall. They both clearly care about everyone having a great time, but they put safety first, which we appreciated so much. Joey also took all of our music preferences and seamlessly wove them into the night so everything flowed perfectly. They brought their son as well, who was such an incredible support and a huge help throughout the day. A few weeks post-wedding day, they even hopped on a debrief call with us to walk through how everything went and help us give accurate feedback to our other vendors. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care went far beyond anything we expected. Our wedding day was so special because of them. We couldn’t recommend Carol and Joey more.”
