Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. My love of Floriculture and Horticulture began when I was young thanks to parents that loved to garden and create breathtaking displays of flowers. That love continued through school and became my passion in college. After gaining a BS from Michigan State University in Horticulture/Floriculture and Landscape Design, I began my career. In 1995, I began Mark Bryan Designs with a eye towards creating unique floral designs for events and weddings.

I adore flowers. They hold an extraordinary power for me as an art form; colors that I can blend and swirl like paint, shapes and textures to mold like clay. I believe that good art is felt deeply, and I have so much appreciation for working with an art form that has such movement and is deeply connected to the Earth.
