I received training from Longwood Gardens in 2005 and received a certificate in floral design. I have worked in the floral industry for over 20 years. I take a creative, yet very traditional as well as lush approach to wedding florals and design.

With over 20 years in the Floral Industry, I strive for a curated and custom floral style for your special day. I go above and beyond to source the best, highest quality, seasonal and freshest blooms and foliage. I maintain strong relationships with my flower farmers and growers to keep up to date on what's blooming that I can use floral wise for your special day!

    I had to cancel my wedding 2 weeks prior to the event due to my fiancé falling critically ill and hospitalized at 26 years old. I reached out to Johanna immediately. She offered some kind words and assured me we could work out some sort of partial refund. That was May of 2024. Since then, I’ve followed up with her FOUR times. She responds occasionally and reassures me that she will still be refunding me. It is now September 2025 and I have still not received any sort refund. If she didn’t want to refund me, why not just say so? Why lie repeatedly. I really didn’t expect much, but under this extraordinary circumstance, many of my vendors did whatever they could to refund us something. To me, this indicates poor follow through, and just general lack of empathy. I would NOT recommend working with Johanna.

    When Joanna walked into our venue with the flowers, I burst into happy tears. It was straight out of a fairytale. She understood exactly what we wanted and brought it to life so beautifully. Every detail felt intentional and personal, from her use of local flowers to the tiny tomatoes she tucked into some of the table bouquets. She was also so organized and professional throughout the entire process, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. At the end of the night, she even donated the extra flowers we couldn’t take home with us - such a thoughtful touch. We were so lucky to book her. She is hands down the best wedding florist in the Philadelphia area. She was so communicative and creative and brought every detail we asked for to life. Her prices are fair and her work is straight out of Vogue weddings.

    Joanna is amazing! She designed and crafted all the florals at my wedding and did such a great job. The whole process working with her from start to finish was pleasant and painless. She is super knowledgeable about flowers, color design, what will be in season, how to make the arrangements fit your vision and personal style. She designed two pergolas at my wedding without using foam which made me feel even better that it was eco-conscious. She was professional, timely, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She coordinated seamlessly with my planner/decorator and the venue rep. Her arrangements really made our photos pop. Highly recommend!!!
