They knew exactly how to capture our day the best and most memorable ways possible, and we couldn't be happier with our giant collection of pictures of the big day. Philadelphia, PA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $9,700

Daniela Monzi is a wedding and elopement photographer based in Philadelphia and San Francisco, available worldwide. Blending film and digital formats, she captures each celebration with intention and heart. Deeply passionate about couples celebrating their love their way, Daniela advocates for wedding days that feel true to who you are—filled with what brings you joy, and free of anything that doesn’t. She honed her craft at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she developed a distinctive style that merges fine-art composition with a candid, documentary approach. The result? Honest, artful imagery that tells your story exactly as it felt.

Awarded Best of Zola
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Dani, the experience of working with her, and the quality of her photos! We were very overwhelmed at the start of the planning process because we knew we didn’t want traditional wedding photos- both in style and in the time commitment for our day. We wanted to spend the entire day with our guests and each other, not an hour doing portraits and group photos. We also did not want thousands of photos back that we would never do anything with. We just wanted a few hundred high quality photos we loved. Dani was so understanding and innovative in coming up with a customized plan for us! She shot our wedding “documentary style” and ENTIRELY ON FILM!! She captured mostly unposed action shots, while still paying attention to the few specific shots we wanted. We spent no more than 15 minutes actually doing portraits and family photos (which all came out perfectly), and the rest of the wedding, Dani was somehow completely unobtrusive but still captured everything we wanted - the unadulterated energy and vibe of our day! It was so impressive and I’m sure extremely difficult for her; we were so appreciative that she came up with the creative plan for us and executed it so perfectly! She used 3 or 4 different styles of film camera AND A DRONE, and the resulting photos were everything we could want: romantic, classic, naturally lit, warm, sweeping, authentic, lush, energized and FUN! We love every photo and we loved even more the way she fit seamlessly into our day. She was also fantastic to communicate with; multiple meetings, clear emails, understanding, personal and kind. We would book her again in a heartbeat and everyone who sees the photos of our day asks us how we found someone so unworthy and talented! Thank you Dani!!!

I am a photographer that looks for the extraordinary and artistic angles in each portrait session or wedding. I make artwork for your home while documenting authentic moments. I am inspired by emotions, intimate moments and the way the light captures a feeling. I stop and observe in my life and am in tune with my spiritual side. I hope this shows in my work as I enjoy making others feel comfortable and good about them selves. I enjoy capturing connection, love, and happiness in each wedding.

Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Heather off of her portfolio and because she was a recommended vendor from our venue. We could not have made a better choice. Not only are the photos so gorgeous, she went above and beyond and photographed longer than she had been booked so that my grandmother could have photos of some of our Pakistani wedding traditions (like the shoe stealing and my henna). All of our guests raved about her, and her candid shots were such a hit that I had people texting me for the link to buy off her website. Heather is truly a master of her craft and a wonderful and kind person to work with.

Emily photographed some of our biggest life events over the past year. We booked her for our wedding right after finding out we were pregnant so she was able to capture our engagement photos, maternity photos, and in-home family pictures welcoming our baby all leading up to our wedding in September. Emily was able to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera with natural poses but she was also able to capture lots of candid moments for our wedding. We love her bright editing style which fit so well with the vibes of our wedding! Sometimes our emails didn’t like to work with her gallery distribution site, but she was always willing to try-try again to get us our photos!

I'm the photographer who is about the change the way you think about photos! I'm a girl doing what I love most- making you feel like the queen you are, and providing something beautiful and timeless in the process. I created Photodelphia to be able to make a living doing what I love! My goal is to be a photographer and friend that you can trust, laugh with, grab a coffee or beer with and be your favorite hype woman (before, during and after the wedding). If you're looking for someone to dance and sing Chappell Roan with, then you're in the right place!

Where do we even begin? Harley was absolutely incredible from start to finish. From the moment we met her, she instantly felt like part of the family, not just our photographer, but someone who truly belonged by our side on one of the most important days of our lives. She didn’t just capture the moments, she lived them with us. Harley became one of our best friends throughout this entire journey, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Her energy, her kindness, her insane talent… she is seriously such a vibe. Every interaction felt effortless, like she just got us, and she brought out the most genuine joy in every shot. Our day wouldn’t have been the same without her, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

My love of photography started when I realized the happiness photographs can bring to other people, even strangers. To have the ability to capture a moment and the opportunity to catch emotions all with a single click is empowering. Whether its an intimate moment at a wedding, a subtle reaction of a newborn, or just taking life's details and turning them into art, all facets of photography appeal to me.

Awarded Best of Zola
Before our wedding, I asked my brother-in-law and sister what they thought we should splurge on. Without hesitation, they both said: photography. They had made the mistake of not prioritizing their photographer—of not finding someone they truly trusted—and they regretted it. When you’re spending so much on a wedding, a good photographer essentially protects your investment. So we made it our mission to find someone we felt confident in—someone fairly priced, artistic, and capable of capturing both candid moments and beautifully composed shots. David is all of that and more. We were getting married out of state and couldn’t even meet him in person beforehand. We had to trust him based solely on a Zoom call—and from that first conversation, we just knew he was the guy. He exudes passion, authenticity, calm, and professionalism. My wife was anxious on our wedding day, and David became a source of comfort, reassurance, and steadiness. He’s everything you want in a photographer. What’s brilliant about David’s work is that every shot feels distinct. He has an incredible eye for composition, capturing surreal, artistic moments with real depth and warmth. His photos allow us to relive the day—especially the moments we didn’t get to fully experience in the chaos. It’s honestly hard to believe how consistent he is. With most professional photographers, you sift through a huge album to find your favorites. With David, every photo is captivating. I also have to mention his patience—especially when we spontaneously asked him to do an offsite photoshoot the night of the wedding… on the beach… in the rain. He didn’t hesitate. That shoot ended up being one of our absolute favorite memories. Not only did we get magazine-worthy photos, but David’s presence helped us come down from the buzz of the day. We laughed, had fun, and genuinely enjoyed the moment—and it shows in the pictures. David’s passion is contagious. He genuinely cares about his art and about giving his clients the best experience possible. Weddings can become routine for vendors, but David made us feel like our day mattered to him too. We truly plan to keep in touch—for anniversaries, milestones, and beyond.

Philadelphia, PA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

I’m Maria, an experienced wedding photographer specializing in multicultural and Western celebrations. As a child, I developed a passion for the arts and culture that only continued to grow with me. After studying photography in college, I decided to pursue wedding photography and have never looked back. I’ve found this path to be more fulfilling than I ever imagined possible, and have settled into my photojournalistic style over the years. I love photographing moments that unfold spontaneously. If you’re looking to capture your love in a way that feels authentic and creative, I’m here for you.

Maria was absolutely amazing to work with through every part of the process and I have absolutely no regrets. I wanted my wedding pictures to be soft and colorful and warm, and I could tell from her portfolio that she was able to make these beautiful scenes in almost any location. I was hard for me to find a photographer so was able to work with us to accommodate a packed 18 hours wedding day with two ceremonies and a reception, but Maria had lots of experience with Indian weddings and inter-cultural weddings so it was so easy to come to an agreement! When we first met with her over Zoom, my now husband and I expressed that we were a little concerned about how well we would come across on camera, since I usually feel awkward. But during our engagement session, Maria was so fun and gave clear direction so we ended up not only with some beautiful engagement pics, but also having a great time! On the day of the wedding, her team was so professional, prepared and funny! They were great at having us relax and have fun in the moments even with a busy schedule. They were also ready with a camera at all times and were able to catch pictures of so many quick moments during the Hindu ceremony. They found great locations to take pictures in front of, and the pictures turned out so amazing I can't even believe them! Maria even hand sewed part of my sleeve ruffle back on when it popped off just before the ceremony without hesitation. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and team, and I would happily work with her again for any future big life events :) Take a look at the photos if you want the proof!

  • Starts at $2,725

Hi, I'm Emily, the person behind Emily Palm Photography. I'm based in Philly but I travel for weddings worldwide. My passion for photography lies in documenting each wedding's authentic love and real emotions.

Emily was beyond helpful long before the day of our wedding. She took our engagement photos (and extra photos with our dogs), helped figure out our timeline, and talked through how things might feel the day of. When the wedding day came around, Emily exuded a confidence that made us feel at ease on what could have been a hectic day. If anything went wrong, we had no clue. She also picked an amazing second shooter (Cauanne) to make sure we didn't miss any memories. Emily helped us be in the right spots at the right time and had no problem rounding up our entire families for big group pictures. Her editing feels special, too. True to the day and managed to capture the vibe of our wedding. And the black and white photos were perfection! I never imagined how often I'd go back to look at those specifically to remember our day. Thank you, Emily!

Hi, I am a multi-cultural wedding photographer, with a taste for bold and vibrant imagery, authentic moments and a dash of glamor. Emotions drive my passion for the art form, and human connections guide me. Born and raised in another hemisphere, I have traveled since. Everywhere I went, my camera allowed me to capture the story behind the people I met & the cultures I observed. I bring the same drive to my wedding photography, where every couple, every family, and all the cultures and traditions I come across, have a different story to tell, and I have the privilege to witness and capture it all!

My fiancé and I worked with Abhi Sarkar Photography for our engagement photos, and it was truly the most amazing experience we could have asked for! From the moment we started, Abhi made us feel so comfortable. He had us laughing, helped guide us through every pose, and captured the love between us so naturally. When we saw our photos, we were completely blown away. Every angle, every moment, and every picture was beautiful, more than we could have asked for! Abhi was professional, on time, and made sure our photos were ready in a timely manner. We couldn't be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Abhi Sarkar Photography to anyone looking for a photographer who truly cares about capturing special moments. Hello, I'm Cheryl I'm a Philadelphia/NYC based photographer specializing in engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn and family photography. While working as a nurse, I found my passion in photography. My goal is to document genuine moments and provide results that you can cherish forever!

Cheryl was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with for our wedding, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to book a photographer. She was very communicative and professional throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding. We did a walk through of the venue with her before the day, and were able to plan out different spots and review the general flow. On the wedding day, she was extremely direct and clear with how she wanted us to pose. This was helpful because there was no confusion or guessing about what to do. She was also very efficient with moving through all the family shots. She called out exactly who was needed for which photos, which made it easy and quick to follow. For the rest of the night, she blended in seamlessly and interacted with the rest of the guests really well. I even had a couple of guests mention how kind she was and how she really made them feel comfortable with the camera. After the wedding, Cheryl turned around our full gallery incredibly quickly, and the quality just blew us away. Because of her, we have incredible photos that we love for the rest of our lives. Cheryl is a true talent and someone you do not want to miss working with!

I'm a documentarian and a storyteller at heart. I capture the most real and authentic moments I can, big or small, loud or quiet. I especially love catching moments that the couple might never get to witness except in their wedding photos. I'm based in Philly, but I'm always up for an adventure, especially one that takes me away from home.

Tracie is always my first choice for a photography colleague. She's magical--she knows where she needs to be, what to pay attention to, how I like to tell a story, and how to be an all around amazing, caring, personable human being. Her extensive background in news photojournalism gives her the ability to blend in with any crowd and has honed her visual storytelling skills. Above all, she is ethical and compassionate when approaching her subjects, and understands how to make anyone feel comfortable and cared for. Her images are always of the highest quality as well as artistic, and I know she will be able to roll with the punches with things go haywire--as they often do with live events. I would hire her in a heartbeat, and have relied on her for local and travel weddings for over a decade.

My photo style is very documentary-oriented, highlighting those genuine, candid moments as they unfold, uninterrupted. I approach the day by aiming to capture not just how a moment looked, but really the way that it felt. I want you to look at your wedding photos and be able to remember the conversation with your sister that made you laugh that hard, and the look in your mom's eye that made you tear up as she zips your wedding dress. Those moments are my bread and butter. While I'm more than happy to offer some prompts and posing tips during couples portraits, I'm honestly most interested in what your day would look like if I weren’t there.

We had a few recommendations for photographers, but when we came across Emily’s work on Zola and Instagram, we were instantly captivated. Her portfolio showcased not only her incredible talent but also her genuine passion for photography. From the start, Emily’s professionalism shone through. We’re a couple that doesn’t take photos very often, but she made us feel completely comfortable, and her natural ability to capture candid moments is unmatched. Emily has an exceptional eye for getting a variety of poses and using the scenery to create stunning images, and her artistic vision truly brought our engagement and wedding photos to life. Our wedding party was fairly large, but Emily handled it with so much patience, calling out names and groupings effortlessly to get every arrangement we had requested. Her second shooter, Wilson, was also a fantastic addition, honestly being a life saver for helping the groomsmen with their boutonnieres and capturing some key moments throughout the day. On our wedding day, Emily was the only vendor with us from start to finish, and she was a joy to work with. She collaborated seamlessly with our videographer, made sure we got in a few breathtaking sunset photos, and captured every detail of our wedding in a beautiful visual story. It truly feels like we’re reliving the day every time we look at her photos. From our initial call to the delivery of sneak peeks just a couple of days after the wedding, Emily was on top of everything. Her communication, even in the months leading up to the wedding via email, was excellent. Her photography packages had transparent pricing and clear deliverables, and she communicated everything with perfect clarity. I would 100000% recommend her to anyone. My husband even mentioned he hopes we have another reason to hire her in the future. Emily is a true professional with impeccable creativity and skill, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

I began my career a decade ago. As a tour photographer, I began accompanying musicians all over the world. Little did I know at that point the low lights, high energy, and late nights would translate well into my career as a wedding photographer. My start as a music photographer gave me the confidence to navigate even the most challenging and unpredictable situations, and I use the same philosophy now while photographing weddings: keep calm, stay observant, and follow the action.

Photographing alongside other artists typically comes with some growing pains, however working with Jess was effortless from the beginning. She has a talent, creative eye, and sensitivity that is unparalleled. I'm in the business of telling stories and capturing authentic moments. I believe the best photographs are the ones that stay true to you. The snorting, the inside jokes, and unique moments only you and your partner understand. SGW Photography is a black-owned, woman-owned wedding and portraits photographer serving Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Greater Delaware Valley. I also travel Worldwide (and did!) I am in the business of telling stories through a lens and capturing feelings with a photograph. I want to capture it as genuinely as possible true to life. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Sabrina, owner and photographer, at SGW was our photographer for our wedding this past June. We couldn’t be happier with her work. For all of the couples who work with her, she suggests an engagement shoot so they can get a feel for her style. It’s an added bonus and it helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and working with her especially on the wedding day. Overall, she’s dedicated to her craft and it shows in everything she does. She’s not a run of the mill wedding photographer. She has a keen artistic eye and exceptional talent. Not to mention she was responsive, professional, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. When we saw our wedding pictures, my husband and I were absolutely blown away. We know these are the types of pictures that will be in the family for generations ️. All of that to say, hire her as your wedding photographer because she’s amazing!!

Hello, and welcome! Nick here, and I first wanted to stay thank you for taking the time to check out my work, and I look forward to the opportunity to capture your wedding day! My approach to your wedding day coverage is more of a documentation of genuine moments between you, your partner, friends, and family. Specializing in a photojournalistic style, I'm on the hunt for those natural smiles, tears of joy, and most importantly, finding you and your partner lost in the moment. I also strive for a clean and timeless look, focusing on composition, and I'm not afraid to give direction when needed.

I am a hopeless romantic who grew up on early 2000s romcoms and now I get to combine my two loves of romance & imagery by capturing weddings. I have a fine arts degree in Photo + Film Media and have a decade of experience. I use all that experience to deliver you a wedding gallery that will make you re-live your wedding day for years to come.

Chrissy, made the experience so easy! We knew when we got engaged that Chrissy would be our photographer. Our engagement pictures solidified that feeling and was really excited for the wedding pictures as well. She captured the joy, love, laughter and dancing in each frame. She is on time, patient and very professional. For sure one of the easiest decisions we made through the wedding planning.

Hi there, I’m Alison! I’m a wedding and family photographer based in Philadelphia, PA and serving the mid-Atlantic region. I love my job because I get to capture some of life’s most special moments. It’s not lost on me how much of a privilege it is to have my photographs hanging on people’s walls for generations. It makes me weepy.

Alison is a JOY to work with and her photography is spectacular. She photographed two of my sister's weddings, and was my first call when I was looking at wedding dates to make sure she was available! Day of the wedding, Alison made me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful the entire time. Her and her second shooter blended into the background of the day and got the most stunning shots of me & hubs, and family and friends. AND she sent our photos back to us in less than a week! (She even sent a handful the morning after the wedding as a sneak peak which was such a joy to have so quickly!) Her eye for detail, capturing sweet moments, and helping wrangle large groups of people turns chaos into order - especially when you want to spend more time enjoying the day instead of looking for aunts and uncles for family photos!

Weddings are each as unique as the couples that plan them. I set out to artfully document your day rich in love and community as authentically as I can while supporting you how you need. I'll be your cheerleader when needed, and a fly on the wall when not.

We had the most excellent experience with Mandy! We chatted briefly on the phone when we booked her, so our first meeting was right before we started taking photos. She fell into step with us seamlessly and we felt an immediate comfort with her; her energy and skill was a perfect match for the low pressure, organic style of photos/photoshoot we were hoping for. We had a non traditional ceremony and she did a great job rolling with the program and being where she needed to be to get great shots. We have so many fun photos of our guests during cocktail hour and dinner and she killed it with the dance floor documentation. She shot both digital and film and they were all fantastic but having film photos of the day felt extra special and a a bunch of the film shots really blew me away. Overall we were extremely happy with Mandy's whole vibe and she delivered a stack of incredible photos of the most special day and we are so grateful! We highly recommend working with Mandy!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… wait that’s a different story :-) What seems like "lightyears" ago, 2004 was the beginning of our story, an epic tale spanning years and continents as we travel to discover the greatest story ever told…yours!

Nathan and his team did a truly phenomenal job with our wedding video. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out—it’s, without a doubt, the best we’ve ever seen. Their talent for storytelling is remarkable, and my dad couldn’t stop raving about it. Thank you for capturing this special day so beautifully, allowing us to relive it for years to come.

I will start by speaking my truth: I am 100 percent in love with love. When I pick up the camera and the chemistry between a couple lights up in front of me, all of my creativity takes flight. It's like a spark that spreads light everywhere. Love between a couple, love amongst a family... it is all love in many forms. Behind the lens, I smile A LOT while I shoot. You want to feel beautiful and have your photos capture you at your happiest -- and LOVE the photos. I would love the chance to work with you, and capture your love story or your family story. Or any story you want to share. Please be in touch!

Kim was so great to work with! My partner and I eloped in the Wissahickon and Kim was great to work with! She understood the vibe of our tiny wedding and that we are also not the most comfortable with pictures. Kim was extremely helpful giving prompts for poses and was all-in for our very nature-focused ceremony spot. The pictures are beautiful and I'm so happy to have them.
