My photo style is very documentary-oriented, highlighting those genuine, candid moments as they unfold, uninterrupted. I approach the day by aiming to capture not just how a moment looked, but really the way that it felt. I want you to look at your wedding photos and be able to remember the conversation with your sister that made you laugh that hard, and the look in your mom's eye that made you tear up as she zips your wedding dress. Those moments are my bread and butter. While I'm more than happy to offer some prompts and posing tips during couples portraits, I'm honestly most interested in what your day would look like if I weren’t there.

Photos aside, I really like to focus on forming true relationships with my clients so they feel comfortable letting their personalities shine through. Your photos should highlight the uniqueness of your love for each other, whatever that looks like to you, not what I or anyone else thinks it should look like. You deserve photos that aren't just pretty, but that capture those authentic, real moments that are specifically personal to your relationship.

    Highly Recommend!!

    Working with Emily was an incredible experience! She was so communicative and attentive during the consultation and shot planning process, and she carried that same energy through our wedding day. Collaborating with her was so easy and she was incredibly mindful of what we did/didn’t want (we weren’t big on detail shots and wanted the primary focus to be on candids and memories. Having Emily as our photographer was a HUGE asset to our wedding day, and now I have absolutely incredible photos to relive and remember that day. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

    Great Experience!

    Working with Emily was such a great experience! My wife and I are not huge fans of getting our photo taken so we were definitely a little nervous! Emily made us so comfortable and it felt so natural. We hired her for both our engagement shoot and wedding and the photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. She is so organized, so the family portraits went so quick and easy! I would definitely hire her again!

    INCREDIBLE talent and professionalism

    We had a few recommendations for photographers, but when we came across Emily’s work on Zola and Instagram, we were instantly captivated. Her portfolio showcased not only her incredible talent but also her genuine passion for photography. From the start, Emily’s professionalism shone through. We’re a couple that doesn’t take photos very often, but she made us feel completely comfortable, and her natural ability to capture candid moments is unmatched. Emily has an exceptional eye for getting a variety of poses and using the scenery to create stunning images, and her artistic vision truly brought our engagement and wedding photos to life. Our wedding party was fairly large, but Emily handled it with so much patience, calling out names and groupings effortlessly to get every arrangement we had requested. Her second shooter, Wilson, was also a fantastic addition, honestly being a life saver for helping the groomsmen with their boutonnieres and capturing some key moments throughout the day. On our wedding day, Emily was the only vendor with us from start to finish, and she was a joy to work with. She collaborated seamlessly with our videographer, made sure we got in a few breathtaking sunset photos, and captured every detail of our wedding in a beautiful visual story. It truly feels like we’re reliving the day every time we look at her photos. From our initial call to the delivery of sneak peeks just a couple of days after the wedding, Emily was on top of everything. Her communication, even in the months leading up to the wedding via email, was excellent. Her photography packages had transparent pricing and clear deliverables, and she communicated everything with perfect clarity. I would 100000% recommend her to anyone. Whenever you are ready is best! The sooner the better so that you can be sure to lock in your date. Currently, I book weddings a maximum of 2 years in advance.

Select wedding packages include 2 photographers, myself as the lead and a second photographer. However, you can always request to add a 2nd shooter to your package if it doesn't already include one.
Just like an artist wouldn’t sell an unfinished painting, I don't release unedited photos. Raw images don't represent my work at its final, highest quality. But not to worry, any undelivered images are due to blur or blinks, are unflattering, or are duplicates from rapid photo shooting.
All weddings receive a sneak peek within 7 days of the wedding day. After that, you can expect your completed online gallery in 12 weeks or less. You will receive a minimum of 100 final images for each hour of coverage, but can expect more. I know how eager you'll be to see your stunning gallery and it's my top priority to get it to you as soon as possible.
Yes! I am based in Philadelphia PA, but serve clients all over the U.S. as well as internationally. Ask me about your location and if traveling fees apply.
I like to describe my work as a documentation of warm, romantic, genuine moments and true highlight of all the candid moments as they unfold naturally. A lot of my favorite wedding photos are the in-between moments of my couples smiling and laughing together, completely unprompted by me. That being said, I’m happy to help direct during couples portraits if you feel like you don’t know what to do with your hands or where to put your feet. I tend to offer prompts that include a little bit of motion and encourage interaction with each other so the images look more fluid and really show off the way the couple naturally interacts.
After we've had a chance to chat about your vision for your wedding day and we go over my pricing guide, once you're ready to book, I'll send over a contract agreement for you to review and digitally sign. Once that's done, I'll send over your invoice for your 30% retainer payment to officially reserve your date. From there we'll have a few more meetings to plan your engagement session as well as chat the final wedding timeline. And then you get to enjoy all your hard work on your incredible wedding day!
