I'm in the business of telling stories and capturing authentic moments. I believe the best photographs are the ones that stay true to you. The snorting, the inside jokes, and unique moments only you and your partner understand. SGW Photography is a black-owned, woman-owned wedding and portraits photographer serving Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Greater Delaware Valley. I also travel Worldwide (and did!) I am in the business of telling stories through a lens and capturing feelings with a photograph. I want to capture it as genuinely as possible true to life. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

As an artist, I'm a bit of an introvert. I have moments where I am socially awkward and then times where I am the loudest of the bunch. I'm quirky and eccentric, but I am honest and genuine. You're hiring me because you want your images mirroring just that — unique, honest, and genuine to who you are. You want photographs that allow you to capture all the unique flaws and joys that makeup you but still done with an artful taste of beauty. If we can connect there, then we're off to a good start. The Best in the Business
Sabrina, owner and photographer, at SGW was our photographer for our wedding this past June. We couldn’t be happier with her work. For all of the couples who work with her, she suggests an engagement shoot so they can get a feel for her style. It’s an added bonus and it helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and working with her especially on the wedding day. Overall, she’s dedicated to her craft and it shows in everything she does. She’s not a run of the mill wedding photographer. She has a keen artistic eye and exceptional talent. Not to mention she was responsive, professional, and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. When we saw our wedding pictures, my husband and I were absolutely blown away. We know these are the types of pictures that will be in the family for generations ️. All of that to say, hire her as your wedding photographer because she’s amazing!!

The photographer of our dreams!
We cannot recommend the lovely and magically talented Sabrina enough! It was really important to us as a queer couple that we find an inclusive photographer we could trust for our wedding, and we’re so SO glad we found Sabrina. Every step of the way she was so considerate, kind, professional, and full of joy. As part of our wedding package we also had an engagement session with her prior to our big day, and when we met it felt like we’d already known her for years. She was incredibly helpful and thorough with arranging our day-of schedule and making sure the pre-planning ensured our photos went off without a hitch. On the day of, her and her team ran everything so smoothly that we knew we didn’t have to stress at all regarding the photos. She is able to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera while giving enough gentle direction to yield stellar photos. And of course let’s not forget - the photos themselves! Sabrina’s style is to capture authentic and joyous moments between couples and she does it so well and so beautifully. Our final gallery was so full of love, happiness, authenticity, and all the little moments that matter most. Thank you so much to Sabrina for allowing us to look back at our most perfect day with so much love! You’re the greatest!

Talented photographer and lovely person
Sabrina was the photographer for my elopement in spring of 2019. She was so easy to work with and the photos were absolutely beautiful. She took the time to get the details right, and put just the right amount of her artistic touch into each picture. Best of all, Sabrina is extremely kind, sweet, and funny-- the perfect addition to your special day. We feel very lucky to have worked with her.
