He sent us worksheets to fill out for both the ceremony and reception. The sheets were very thorough and super helpful as we began thinking of music we wanted. After we submitted our worksheets, we had a call with DJ Karizma. He went through each and every song we requested, he played a tidbit of each one, and we confirmed it was the correct song. Later in the call, he respectfully brought up some concerns regarding what we had envisioned and how it conflicted with some of the logistics. We were so incredibly grateful for this conversation because HE is the professional and he was sharing HIS professional opinions. In the end, we took every single bit of his advice and it turned out EVEN BETTER than we had ever imagined! One the day of our wedding (7/11,) DJ Karizma met each guest and vendor with the utmost respect. His announcements, his music, and his ability to service a room of many generations is impeccable. He kept people of all ages moving and grooving! My nanny (83) was even up and going with Get Low!! He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! Having never been married before, it was incredibly helpful to see a drop-down list of events, traditions, people, etc. that we may have to account for and could choose to do/ opt out of for our own wedding, all laid out through the website he created for us.
