“If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! Our son and daughter-in-law couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue to begin their lives together. From our very first meeting with Lauren and James to the last dance of the evening, everything was simply perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire day feel effortless. Every member of the staff went above and beyond, allowing our family to relax and truly enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about the wedding—especially the food! We've heard countless compliments, including, "That was the best steak I've ever had at a wedding!" The food and service were exceptional. Lauren and James don't just host weddings—they create unforgettable memories. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our family's day so magical. We will treasure those memories forever and wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate.”

“We recently had our wedding at The Barn at Black Walnut Farm, and it was extraordinary. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Jim and Sarah have poured so much heart and craftsmanship into restoring this historic barn, preserving its rustic charm while modernizing it in all the right places.

The property itself is breathtaking, with thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel completely immersed in nature. The rose garden and front yard provided great photo opportunities, not just for us but for all our guests.
Our ceremony in the forest site was an absolute dream. The setting created a truly magical, intimate atmosphere. It was the most picturesque backdrop for such a meaningful moment, and we can’t imagine having said our vows anywhere else.
The true gem of the property, however, is the historic house. Staying in this house was an unforgettable experience, and my family is already looking forward to returning for years to come.
The Barn at Black Walnut Farm is more than just a venue—it’s an experience and a place where memories are made. Jim and Sarah are not just venue owners; they are passionate, thoughtful hosts who truly care about every couple’s special day. We feel so honored to have celebrated our wedding here and cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“We got married at Bad Seed in June 2024. It was the first venue we toured and we knew it was perfect right away. Devin, Albert, Brandon, and the rest of the Bad Seed team are so down to earth and communicative. They gave us great advice about how to make our wedding day amazing. We wanted to DIY our decor and music, bring in our own food vendor, and have a casual garden party vibe. Bad Seed was super flexible, letting us choose whichever vendors we wanted and giving us tips for great service providers in the area. Because they only do one wedding per weekend, we had the entire day before the wedding to set up (which we needed!) as well as the entire morning/afternoon before the big event. There was always someone at the venue to help with whatever we needed, even going above and beyond to help us lay out the tables and set up decor. We wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans with a heat wave and thunderstorm moving through the area. On the bright side, Devin and the Bad Seed crew made sure we could do the whole event inside -- even going out to buy a big industrial fan to make sure the taproom stayed cool (we didn't end up needing it, the AC did its job!). Bad Seed is also SO reasonably priced compared to other wedding venues in the area. There was no nickel and diming or hidden fees - just an honest price and a great value. During the actual event, the bar staff went above and beyond to take care of us, checking in on us throughout the night and bringing us drinks so we didn't have to wait at the bar. It really made us feel like a million bucks. Oh, and our guests were raving about the cider :) If you're looking for an awesome, picturesque wedding venue in the Hudson Valley, Bad Seed should be your top choice.”

“Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)”

“I can’t say it enough that The Rockleigh should be at the top of everyone’s venue list. They were our 2nd of 3rd venues we were touring and we never went to our 3rd venue tour. My words simply can’t portray how magical a wedding at The Rockleigh will feel. As soon as you walk in we were hit with a “wow” feeling. The venue is simply beautiful and left us and all our guests in awe. On top of a classy and beautiful venue, the service the staff provided is truly unforgettable. “We recently had our wedding at Hudson Loft (OnTheMarc) and it was the best party we’ve ever attended! Every element of the planning process was thoughtful and Sam, the Senior Event Producer we worked with was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and on top of it all! We felt cared for from the very beginning stages and that care continued through the wedding with every staff member who helped to make the day run so smoothly. We can’t say enough about the FOOD. It was hard to narrow down to 8 (!!) passed appetizers because they were all so delicious. The presentation is exceptional at OnThe Marc - every appetizer is truly bite-size and bursting with flavor. It’s like having the tiniest versions of all of your favorite foods from lobster rolls and tacos to sliders, chicken and waffles, spicy tuna on crispy rice and beyond. Everything felt both elevated and also grounded in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution. For the main course, we did 2 stations and were thrilled with the results. Throughout the night, family and friends commented on how amazing every bite was and how wonderfully varied the choices were. We highly recommend this special event space for couples seeking a gorgeous open layout in Westchester that can truly be a canvas for any design and flowers. The location, situated right opposite the MetroNorth train station in Irvington, was perfect for friends and family traveling from the city. The windows are a showstopper, looking out onto the Hudson and filling the room with a warm glow well into the evening. We loved that we didn’t have to rent any furniture. There is plenty of seating and many furniture options for display. The long tables were a great way to promote conversation during cocktail hour. We also loved the lighting! The exposed bulb fixtures give an appealing industrial vibe. We did our ceremony at Hudson Loft and the table set-up was seamless during the cocktail hour. Our Event Captain, Teresa, was thorough, diligent, and accessible the entire time. She made it all feel so easy and joyful! OnTheMarc will make you feel completely at ease with every detail. We are so grateful to have chosen this special place for our wedding!”

“Joe and I had our wedding/25 years together celebration at Hudson Prime with 70 of our closest friends and family. I was looking for a place overlooking the Hudson that was reasonably priced. Floria was fantastic guiding us through the process, choosing the menu; helping find a DJ, even matching the printed party menu to our invitations. Gino, Arif and the restaurant staff were so attentive and supportive while setting up and throughout the event. Everyone had a wonderful time! The dance floor area was just the right size and the DJ played a fantastic mix. The food... exceptional; the high praise that friends and family shared for all the dishes they ate went on for weeks. I say, try the bacon! My only bummer was that the sunset was hiding behind the rain clouds. We did go back a couple weeks later and had dinner enjoying the sunset views. Highly recommend! Definitely made the right choice. We will be back for dinners in the future. Maybe even on an anniversary or two.”

“We cannot say enough incredible things about Paramount Country Club—it truly exceeded every expectation. One of the biggest reasons our wedding day was so seamless was because of Alana, the absolute best coordinator you could ask for. From start to finish, she was there for us every step of the way and genuinely made us feel like no request was ever too big—she somehow made everything happen. From our very first meeting through the wedding day, she answered all of our questions and allowed us to stop by the venue multiple times for measurements, walkthroughs, tastings, and to drop off items ahead of time, which made planning so much easier. On the wedding day itself, you truly do not need to hire an outside coordinator—Alana is right there the entire day, communicating with vendors, keeping everything on schedule, and making sure every detail runs perfectly. And Maria is truly an angel. Having her with you on the wedding day is absolutely incredible. She steamed all of our dresses and suits, made sure we were eating and drinking throughout the day, kept the bridal and groom suites stocked with food and drinks, bustled my dress, and helped with anything and everything we needed. Her presence alone made the day feel calmer and far less stressful. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with gorgeous mountain views in the background (a must for me), and our photos came out incredible. Being able to stay on-site and get ready in the cottage is a total game changer and made the experience even better. Another huge highlight is the food—there are so many options for both cocktail hour and dinner, and every single one was a hit. Our guests are still talking about how impressed they were, and the service throughout the entire event was truly above and beyond. We would recommend Paramount Country Club to anyone without hesitation—it was the perfect venue for the most unforgettable day.”

PAUL WAS ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE OUR SPECIAL REQUESTS AND PICKY GUESTS, AND WHEN WE WERE A FEW PEOPLE SHORT ON OUR GUEST COUNT THEY WERE ABLE TO MAKE UPGRADES SO WE WEREN’T JUST WASTING MONEY. SERVICE WAS SEAMLESS AND WE LOVED THE DUET STYLE MAINS. IT ALLEVIATED STRESS NOT HAVING TO ASK EVERYONE WHAT THEY WANTED TO EAT. PAUL MADE SURE OUR SPECIAL DAY WAS PERFECT. HE WAS AROUND ALL DAY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT AND HE HANDLED ALL THE VENDORS AS THEY ARRIVED AND WE WERE ABLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY THE WEDDING! We didn’t need a planner. Why you'll love this venue

Venue considerations

  • No on-site bridal suite
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No all-inclusive dining options
“Tarrytown House Estate is a truly beautiful wedding venue and an incredible value for what it offers. The grounds are stunning, especially in the fall, with endless photo opportunities that made our entire weekend feel like the Broadway production we planned (Note: our wedding had a light Broadway theme that worked very well at TTHE). From the ceremony to the reception to the afterparty, the property offered a wide range of adaptable spaces, which made it easy to tailor the layout to our vision and comfortably accommodate a large guest list. The food was a standout. It was delicious, abundant, and consistently praised by our guests, both for quality and quantity. Many guests commented that it exceeded their expectations. The venue’s preferred vendor list and Ann’s suggested vendors were also a huge help. It saved us time, reduced stress, and ultimately helped us manage costs without sacrificing quality. One of the biggest highlights was the speakeasy afterparty space, which was a total hit and made the post wedding Pajama party, memorable finale. The venue is also very accessible in terms of planning. We were able to visit often, walk the grounds freely, and truly familiarize ourselves with the property ahead of the big day, which made us feel confident and prepared. The only challenge worth noting is that the hotel room layout can be a bit confusing, and the property is not the most accessible for older guests or those with limited mobility. That said, we forgot to ensure that less mobile guests were given the most accessible room and they do have a golf cart to shuttle guests around. We also cannot say enough good things about Ann, our venue coordinator. She was exceptional from start to finish. Her communication was clear and timely, and it was immediately obvious that she is deeply experienced and knows this venue inside and out. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly personable, and she genuinely made us feel like she was on our team rather than trying to sell us on upgrades we didn’t need. Ann was an invaluable source of insight, advice, and creative problem-solving, and she was always willing to entertain and help execute our more ambitious or unconventional ideas (e.g. a Reindeer Ringbearer). She consistently offered thoughtful, cost-effective guidance that helped us bring our vision to life without unnecessary stress or expense. On the wedding day itself, she was incredibly present, calm, and responsive, handling details seamlessly and making us feel fully supported. At every step, she made us feel like her only and most valued clients. Overall, we would highly recommend Tarrytown House Estate and Ann to any couple looking for a beautiful, flexible venue with excellent food, strong vendor partnerships, and truly outstanding coordination.”

“I can't begin to describe the amazing wedding celebration we had at The Terrace at Biagio's. We had our ceremony at the venue as well and everything went perfect! Barbara and John were top tier! Communicating with me from the moment we met until the wedding, answering all my questions at all hours and making our vision come to life! They were on top of everything from start to finish, and we were constantly taken care of us. Not only did they excel but they did it all with great personality and love! The Terrace itself was a gem! Our guests raved about the cocktail hour! It was an assortment of the best food possible, all so fresh and impossible to not go back for more. Bar service was top notch and our signature drinks were a hit! (Barbra actually was the one who made that vision come alive! Lavender martini and bacon maple ole fashioned). The dessert hour was a fire show! (Literally a fire show) And there was every dessert possible! Carnival, ice creams, cakes, cookies, chocolate fondue, etc! We had our first look down the road at another location but we took photos on site in the front of the entrance to the terrace and they came out beautiful! It's a smaller area but it has beautiful flowers and a stream. The ceremony was on the roof top and it was beautiful with the waterfall fountain and stone fire place! Lots of cute places to take some very nice photos! Along with the string lights and arch, it was a dream. I can't rave enough about how much Biagios made our day so enjoyable, and beautiful. I would recommend them over and over again thank you again to the hardworking staff, Barbara, John and Tommy. It is a night we will cherish forever. Oh, and they allow dogs to be in the ceremony It was everything to be able to have our fur baby share our special day with us.”

“The Views at Mt Fuji was an absolute dream venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, Pia and her team were quick to respond, incredibly kind, and provided us with all the details we needed. Their communication was top-notch throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself was breathtaking - words can't even describe how stunning the ceremony space and interior are. The exemplary service from Pia and her staff made our special day run seamlessly. “Dreams really do come true at the Tides! The best thing you can do is book your wedding there. From the day we booked and leading up to our big day Michael was very forthcoming and helpful. He was very responsive, followed up on all my questions and made sure we felt supported. The venue itself looks out of a fairytale. They are in a rural location so the greenery as you drive up is beautiful. The inside looks akin to a palace with many rooms and a beautiful lobby.  You don't even have to decorate too much because the place itself is so elegant and classy. The garden is soooo breathtaking. They have 2 ceremony spaces outside, beautiful flowers and greenery. Plus it's so big! You get a lot of bang for your buck. I didn't hire a day of coordinator and I basically planned everything myself with the bridal party, but the Maitre D and venue staff were very instrumental in making sure our event ran smoothly. I was super nervous thinking about the day of. I planned everything out but couldn't leave my seat because hello, I'm the bride lol. I was getting ready all morning.  But thanks to our Maitre D Alberto, the event flower perfectly. He kept us on time. Helped get the bridal party together. He literally went above and beyond. It's so incredible just thinking back to it. I know some venues are hands off. But the staff was just so dedicated to making our every request happen if possible. Thanks to Alberto, our wedding day went by beautifully without any hitch or drama. It's unbelievable because I heard there is always some kind of issue the day of. We paid for a 6am opening so me and my bridesmaids could get ready at the venue. Michael set up a wonderful breakfast in the bridal suite it was like being home! We were so comfortable and we're ready on time for our 11am start. Truly wonderful. We had the small bridal suite so to our small party but it was super nice and a great set up for getting ready! The food and the drinks were to die for. First of all, the cocktail hour was loaded with so much food! Not only do they include a variety of delicious hor'devours. You get to choose from from different entrees and stations. The guest are still raving about it a month later! Everything was excellent. From the presentation to the quality of the meals, it was the best wedding food I've ever had. When the reception came all the guests were too stuffed for their reception entrees! My cake came from David's Custom Cakes, their partner. I got the dulce de leche filling and let me tell you it was so rich! I'm definitely coming back the next time I need a cake! Honestly I am a happy bride. I have no regrets, in fact it was even better than I imagined! Don't hesitate to book them, you will not regret it!”
